MEAFORD EXPRESS (1955) -- Mrs. Charles (Elizabeth) Haines, native of St. Vincent and one of the oldest residents in this area, died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Charles Ball, Cook Street. She was 95 years old.
   Mrs. Haines' remains were taken to Toronto this morning where funeral service will be held at 1:30 tomorrow at the Lynett Funeral Home, 3299 Dundas St. W. Interment will be at St. George's Church-on-the-Hill, Islington.
   Mrs. Haines was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Turner. After many years in this district she went to live in Toronto where her husband, the late Daniel Haines, was employed by the Copp Clark printing company. He died more than 30 years ago.
   Mrs. Haines returned to Meaford three years ago, and has been living with her daughter. She was a member of Christ Church Anglican.
   Survivors include two daughters, Gladys, Mrs. Charles Ball, and Eileen, Mrs. William Armstrong, both of Meaford.
