MRS. KILBORN HURD DEAD
A FORMER MEAFORD LADY PASSES
AWAY AT TORONTO JUNCTION ON
TUESDAY
MEAFORD EXPRESS (1910) Mr. Chas Watt received the sad news on Tuesday of the death of his sister, Margaret Watt, relict of the late Kilborn Hurd, which sad event took place at Toronto Junction on Tuesday.
   The late Mrs. Hurd came to Meaford with her mother and three brothers, Messrs, James, Charles and Andrew Watt, in the year 1857. In 1859 she was married to Mr. Kilborn Hurd and they continued to reside here till the spring of 1887 when they moved to Toronto Junction, at which place her husband died some four years ago.
   She leaves on daughter and one son, namely, Mrs. Byron Kilborn, of Orange, New Jersey, and Chas. K. Hurd, of Iowa City, Iowa. Two brothers who also survive are: Chas. Watt, this town and James Watt, of St. Thomas, N.D.
   Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Watt left this morning to attend the funeral which takes place at Toronto Junction tomorrow afternoon.
