After Lingering Illness
DURHAM. Aug. 23. -- After a lingering illness of three years duration, Miss Annie Margaret McCallum, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Malcolm McCallum passed quietly away to the Great Beyond. She was in her 24th year, a young lady with promising talent and a very loveable disposition. Throughout her term in the telephone office she made many friends and became known to a large number of people.
She was born on the 6th concession of Bentinck near Mulock, but for the past thirteen years the family have resided in town. Her parents and three sisters, Sarah, at home; Gertrude, at Toronto and Florence, at Owen Sound mourn the loss of a dutiful loving daughter and affectionate sister.
The funeral will be Thursday afternoon to Durham cemetery and services will be conducted by her pastor, Rev. Mr. Spencer of Baptist Church.
