MEAFORD EXPRESS (1942) - The death of Leetice Clarke, beloved wife of Harry Sewell, occurred at her home in St. Vincent after a long and trying illness, on Friday morning, October 2nd, at the early age of 35 years.
   Deceased was the daughter of Mrs. Edward Clarke and the late Mr. Clarke of St. Vincent - Euphrasia townline and has resided in the community all her life. She was a sufferer from asthma. Deep sympathy goes out to her family and friends on her untimely death.
   The late Mrs. Sewell is survived by her husband and one son Kenneth, besides her mother, four sisters and four brothers: Mrs. Cecil Charters and Mrs. Gibson, Toronto, Mrs. C.E. Hutchinson, Montreal and Mrs. Arthur Sewell, Euphrasia and Christie Clarke, Euphrasia; Walter, Niagara; Percy, Simcoe, and Wesley at home.
   The funeral was held to Lakeview cemetery on Monday afternoon, October 5th. Service was conducted by Rev.E.V. Warren. Pall bearers were her three brothers; Walter, Percy and Wesley Clarke, and George, Wilbert and Milford Sewell. The flower bearers were her nieces and nephews.
   Those attending from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. C. Charters and son Alvin, and Mrs. Gibson and Jack of Toronto; Mr. and Mrs. Walter Clarke, Niagara; Percy Clarke, Simcoe, and Wesley Clarke, Huntsville.
