Obituary Mrs. Elizabeth J. Hood Mitchell in Listowell September 1974 The death of Mrs. Elizabeth J. Mitchell took place at the Hiemstra Nursing Home in Listowel on Tuesday, September 10, 1974 after a lengthy illness. She was in her 89th year, the youngest member of a family of thirteen of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Hood Sr., Howick Township. Her husband, Issac Mitchell, Fordville, North Dakota, predeceased her in 1939, and since then she has resided in Clifford. Mrs. Mitchell is survived by ten nieces and eight nephews. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. B. M. Bouwmeester of Clifford United Church at the Rolufs' Funeral Chapel at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13. Interment was in the Clifford Cemetery. The pallbearers were: Allan Nicholson, Gary Sinclair, Donald Taylor, James Taylor, Bill Lavery, and Ronald Huras. Flowerbearers were: Archie Sinclair, Allan Taylor, Bill Allison, Howard Pehlke, John Douglas and Bill Taylor.
