Obituary Walter Joseph Thompson of Colborne Township died July 1913
The Signal Thursday July 31, 1913
Brakeman Thompson was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Thompson, of the 12th concession of Colborne township, west of Nile. He was twenty three years of age. He had been on the railway about ten months, and prior to that was with a bridge company.
The remains were brought home for interment, the funeral taking place this (Thursday) afternoon from the family residence to the Colborne cemetery. Rev. H. Willans, of Nile, conducted the funeral services. Much sympathy is felt with the bereaved family, and there was a large attendance at the funeral.
Submitter Kate Bariteau (replace AT with @ in email address)
Kate's Notes: Walter Joseph Thompson was first cousin to Oliver John Thompson whose obit I sent previously.
Walter's grandparents were Thomas Thompson and Tamar Thompson
