My name is Kathleen Racher but I was born Kathleen Iris Sparling.
My parents were Dixie May (nee Racher) and David Roy Sparling and
I was born in Goderich Ontario on June 16, 1967. Unfortunately, I
have not had contact with my father since 1970 when my parents
divorced, but I am interested in finding him as well as my three
half-brothers (by his first marriage to a Jean) -- their names
are Allan,Steve and Brian Sparling. I know that my paternal
grandmother's name was Iris Sparling. I have looked on the
Ontario Cemetary Finding Aid and I believe now that her full name
was Iris May Sparling and my grandfather's was Roy M. Sparling.
If I am right, my grandparents were buried in the Maitland
Cemetary in Goderich, but I don't know the dates. If you have any
information that I could use to find my father or brothers I

I'm looking for information on Mary Patrick (nee West) married to
James Patrick who is buried in Gorrie Public Cemetery, Section A,
Howick - OCFA # 3208-A-P362. I live in SW Florida USA and before
I go to the trouble of ordering up the cemetery file I was hoping
to find out if this is the same Mary Patrick who lived in
Meaford, Grey County, Ontario in 1870. She was my great-great
grandmother and she and James bot were born in or near Coventry,
England about 1850. Mary is listed in the 1871 Ontario Census in
St. Vincent Twp., Grey County, Ontario but James is nowhere to be
found in all of Ontario it seems. The 1871 Census lists a Thomas
Patrick born in England, ag 45, who I assume is either the father
or uncle of James. I assume they were still in Grey County when
their daughter, Louisa Patrick (born May 11, 1870 in Meaford),
married Charles James Taylor on October 5, 1893. If anyone has
any information, please contact me and thank you.
