If so, what name?: Strickers/Strycker

Comments:
Jack Strickers (Jacob Strycker) married Mary (Maria) Stump in Peel Co, 1833, giving his residence as Clinton. This family moved to Elkhart Co IN about 1837, joining others of the Stump families there. Jacob was the son of Henry Strycker and Mary Wanner. Henry seems to have died in Ontario (Huron Co?), Mary is the second burial in Union Center Cemetery, Nappanee IN (1840). A John Strycker (?Bro of Jacob) was first burial (1839). Christopher Strycker, rother (my line) came to Elkhart Co IN, married Magdalena Stump (1842). (Christopher was born in Lincoln Co ONT, 1815.) Catherine Strycker (a sister?) married Joseph Stump. A Henry Strycker is noted adjacent to Abraham Stump in Northumberland Co PA (th se are both likely grandparents) The Stump family moved to Ontario in 1806, to Vaughn Twp, York Co. I have searched the records at Jordan Museum and Brock University Archives, with assistance, and found nothing on this family. Desire information on Henry Strycker (birth, death, burial, will) and any other information on his family. [would accept advice on research]

Elliott, Christina: I am trying to find out who Christina Elliott's parents were for my ancestory search. Christina may have had a middle name of Henrietta. She was born July 16, 1852 in Goderich, Huron County, Ontario. In 1869 she married Harry (Henry James Anderson who was born in 1854 Kincardine, Bruce County, Ontario. (there are differences on the actual year of birth going by gravestones, writeups, census of Manitoba, their obituaries in the Strathmore,Alberta newspaper). In 1879 they homesteaded n Manitoba and eventually moved to Strathmore, Alberta in 1910 where they both eventually died and were buried. According to the obits in the newspaper of Strathmore when each died, census material, writeups in books written on Manitoba and Strathmore, A berta and grandparents (all now deceased) they had children as follows: Katherine Ameila (married Walter Edgar Eggleton and resided in Killarney, Manitoba until their deaths/these are my great grandparents), Agnes Jane (married John Cleeve/Agnes died in 922), Robert, Arthur William, George B (married Ruth Cleland), Frederick J, Mary E.C. (died in early childhood), Wilkie (who was residing in Kansas City, USA at time of both Harry and Christina's deaths) and a girl whose who's first name may have been Ma garet (married a man with last name of Lyons and resided in Ontario at time of both her parents deaths). I am willing to share what I have found so far and would appreciate any help that anyone can give to help me find who Christina's parents were be it b direct relatives, extended relatives, etc. Sincerely, Judy (home email address lpali@cgocable.net)

If so, what name?: Gorrell

Comments:
I am researching the family of Alexander and Hannah (Likens) Gorrell. They were married around 1845 in Toronto. They lived in Pickering before moving to Huron Cty.Their 5th child was born in Clinton in 1857. Hannah died in 1896 and she and Alexander are b ried in the Clinton Cemetery (according to the OCFA). This family is quite elusive. It is possible they moved out of province for awhile as there is absolutely no record of them in the 1871 Ontario census index. I would like to find any records available hich might point to the names and/or location of their parents and siblings. I am researching this for someone else, but would appreciate any help you can give.
