Welcome
The Kawartha Branch of the Ontario Genealogical Society
(OGS) was formed in 1975. We are a group dedicated to supporting
genealogical research in Peterborough, Northumberland, Victoria and
Haliburton Counties through our library, regular meetings, beginners
courses, and publications. We extend a warm welcome to all those seeking out
their family roots, in our Counties and elsewhere!

Upcoming Meetings/Events

pm at Trent University Library and Archives. Archivist Bernadine Dodge will provide a tour and
speak on resources available for genealogical research. Access is limited

| OGS Conference - May 29-31st, 2009 at Sheridan College, Trafalgar
Rd in Oakville. This year's theme will be "From the Printed Page to the

| June Meeting - our Annual Cemetery Picnic day to be held on
Saturday, June 20th at Port Hope Cemetery as we continue to transcribe
this very old and large cemetery. |
| There are no meetings during July and August. Note - Our Library
Collection continues to be available during this time. |
