This burial site is located back in a very rough terrain area east of Brightside, Ontario and is believed to be the burial site of several members of the Camelon Family.  The wooden cross was erected by George Larocque, nailed to a very large pine tree.  It is believed that this tree may have been there at the time of burials around 1866 and for this reason it is still standing and is very large compared to the rest of the trees in the area.

More research is required to establish who is buried here.  Kevin Camelon lives in Bangkok, Thailand and his father Mervyn Camelon of Ottawa have been looking into the persons buried here.

Pictures were taken by Keith Thompson on the 5th of August, 2001.
