Notes: 

Catherine Umpherston Mattie birth date is incorrect on the plaque.  She was born Dec. 19, 1785 and died about 1856.

We found that Alexander Matthie is also buried here with his wife Catherine Umpherston.  Alex. born 1787, died 1857/58.

The big black stone above has the words "Umpherston" chiseled into it.

The plaque was placed here by Mrs. Irene Spence and family.

"It is believed that there are many more burials in this cemetery - names unknown"
