| Boyds: Although not named, it shows in the Historical Atlas for Lanark County with a Church and another building. |
| Clydesville: Shows in the Historical Atlas of Lanark County. |
| Hopetown: The first postmaster was Robert Cannon who was also the first settler of this area. |
| Lanark:
Located on the Clyde River. It was a supply depot in 1820 superintended by Colonel Marshall. It was first called New Lanark. In the Historical Atlas of Lanark County, Lanark appears to be the largest town. |
| Middleville: Had a Presbyterian Church. Was Middleville PO in the Historical Atlas of Lanark County |
| Rosetta: Was named in 1854 when the post office was established with John Dodds as the postmaster. The only Congregational Church in Lanark County was built here during the latter half of the 1800s. |
