|Lennon/Linnen||1798 - 1859||I am researching my maternal great-great
LENNON, born in IRELAND in 1798. Granted land in Lanark county in 1820. Married Elizabeth MOULTON, b. 1803 Barragh Parish, Carlow county, IRELAND.
Marriage took place in PERTH, Canada in 1823.
In all they had 11 children, Frances, b.1824; Ann,b. 1827; William, b. 1829 (my gr.grandfather); Catherine, b. 1834; Elizabeth, b. 1835; Mary, b. 1836; Susan, b.1839; John, b. 1841; Robert, b. 1843; Margaret, b. 1846; Serah, b.1849. I have all kinds of information on most of these sons and daughters.
I am trying to find out what county in IRELAND Patrick was from. As well, I am trying to find out any information on John LENNON, born March 21st, 1841 in Lanark county. He is listed in the 1861 census returns for Lanark county but not in any other ones that I checked. I am inclined to believe that quite possibly he may have died soon after the 1861 census was conducted. Any information on Patrick's place of birth and/or his son John would be greatly appreciated.
