Lanark County Sugar Making

Making maple syrup has long been a family affair in Lanark County.  Helping with the process at Bellamy's sugar camp near Clayton in 1912 are (from left) Arthur Nolan, Powell Bellamy, Millie (Bellamy) Hogan, John E. Bellamy, Eddie Munro, George Bolger, Roy Evans, Charley, and Mrs. John E. (Catherine Bolger) Bellamy.
