TRACY FAMILY REUNION

The family of Andrew Tracy, Little Current received a lace tablecloth at the Tracy reunion held July 1 at Springwater Park, Midhurst, for the family who had travelled the greatest distance to attend the meeting. Nearly 170 cousins of the Tracy family met to renew old acquaintances and make new ones at their 24th annual reunion. Some of the cousins had not met for over 47 years. Frank Quance, Toronto was elected president for the coming year. Mrs. Garnet McMaster, vice president; Mrs. Allan Cole, Elmville, secretary; Mrs. Everard Harris, Crentel, treasurer; Mrs. Frank Quance, program convener. Members of the family present at the reunion came from Manitoulin Island, Parry Sound, Foote’s Bay, Oshawa, Collingwood, Toronto, Markham, Wasaga Beach, Brentwood, Stayner, Orillia, Barrie and district. The reunion next year will be a special 25th anniversary and will be held at Midhurst Forestry Ground.
