ABOTOSSAWAY--In memory of Clayton Abotossaway.
For those I have left behind
I have not gone far, I still see
Those tears you shed are for me.
I am not unhappy, I am not sad,
I just thank God for all we had.
I did not choose to go away,
But God told me I couldn't stay.
He reached for me with loving care
Come with me child, if you dare.
Reach out your arms to those below
Blow them a kiss so they will know.
Let the breeze of your kiss pass across their brow,
Let them know you are safe and happy now.
Now dry your eyes and remember me
For where I am was meant to be.
To you that I have left behind
The love we've shared will always bind.
If a breeze should pass across your brow
Remember from where it came, and how.
Until we meet again one day
I've not gone far, I am just away.
Forever missed, Terry, Glenda and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, November 22, 2006
ABOTOSSAWAY--In memory of our papa Greg Abotossaway, November 22, 2007.
We know you liked to hunt Papa
We have got to see the pictures everyday
You shot a few nice bucks and moose, and told us lots of stories too!
We never understood all of your stories
But our dad, your son, does as we are still too young
But someday we will and we will use that knowledge too.
Moose Camp was sad this year, Papa, without you and we miss you lots
But we knew you were there with us
And especially when dad got his moose
Just like last year when you were with us.
We thought of you the whole time Papa
And all the good times you must have had.
Our dad said he will take up to the spot Papa
Where you got your last big buck
The day before you left us….
And we know, Papa, that you will always be looking down on us and
guarding us,
You are now our Guardian Angel.
You will be missed always.
Love Hunter and Carter Abotossaway (Jason and Natasha).

In Memory
ADDISON-In loving memory of a father and grandfather, Jack who passed away January 22, 1982.
Memories are like threads of gold
They never tarnish or grow old
Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Although we smile and make no fuss
No one misses him more than us.

ADDISON-In Loving memory of Lucinda Addison, who passed away September 18th, 1950.
One year has passed since that sad day,
When one we loved was called away
God took her home-it was His will,
Within our hearts she liveth still.
So dear God will you take a message,
To our Grandma in Heaven above,
And tell her how much we both miss her,
And please give her all our love.

AELICK--In loving memory of Berton (Bert) who passed away May 1, 2007.
Forget unkind words I have spoken;
remember some good I have done.
Forget that I ever had heartache
and remember I've had loads of fun.
Forget that I've stumbled and blundered
and sometimes fell by the way.
Remember I have fought some hard battles
And won, ere the close of the day.
Then forget to grieve for my going,
I would not have you sad for a day,
Come the shade of evening when the sun
paints the sky, sit for a moment,
I'll be by your side.

AELICK--In memory of Rodney (Dick) Aelick.
The past year has been difficult
Since our beloved husband, father and Papa,
Rodney (Dick) Aelick
Went to be with our Lord, Jesus Christ.
The lessons he taught us
Have helped to guide us
And the precious memories
Have comforted us.
We recall his stories and we smile
When we remember his laughter.
When life seems lonely without him,
We are thankful that the end of his journey on earth
Was only the beginning of an eternity of joy.
Lovingly remembered by Gert, Steve and Julie, Darren and Lisa and cherished grandchildren.
Manitoulin Expositor, March 28, 2007
AELICK--In memory of Rodney (Dick) Aelick who passed away March 28, 2006.

Wherever we look there are reminders,
especially when we see the horses
which he so enjoyed.
But the reminder which gives us the
most peace and comfort is the symbol
of his faith - his Bible.
Lovingly remembered by Gert, Steve and Julie, Darren and Lisa and treasured Grandchildren.
Manitoulin Expositor, March 26, 2008

AIABENS--In loving memory of our dad Gabriel Aiabens, who died 32 years ago on February 6.
A million times we've needed you
A million times we've cried,
If love could have saved you
You never would have died.
Things we feel most deeply
Are the hardest things to say,
My dearest one, we loved you,
In a very special way.
If we could have one lifetime wish
One dream that could come true,
We'd pray to God with all our heart
For yesterday and you.
Lovingly remembered by Mary, Rose, Shirley, Edna and Jacob.
Manitoulin Expositor, February 6, 2008
AIABENS--In loving memory of Lloyd Aiabens who passed away on October 14, 2007.
"With hearts we turn to God to find relief from sorrow
We pray for strength and courage as we face each new tomorrow.
Then, from within, we hear a voice that sets our spirits free.
'Be comforted, live now in faith, your loved one is with me.
'There is joy beyond all dreaming, there is love beyond compare,
There is love beyond all knowing...and the one you love is there.
"Mary, Rose, Shirley, Edna and Jake.

AIABENS--In loving memory of a dear brother, Robert, it's been five years
July 19, 1997.
This month comes back with deep regret
It brings back a day we will never forget.
He went away without saying good-bye
But our memories of him will never die.
No one knows the grief we bear
When the family meets and he's not there.
The tears we shed will wipe away.
But the ache in our hearts will always stay.
He left us so suddenly his thoughts unknown
But he left us with memories.
We are proud to own
-- Sadly missed and always remembered by Edna & Ted.

When evening shades are falling
And we sit in quiet alone.
To our hearts there comes a longing
If she only could come home.
Friends may think we have forgotten
When at times they see us smile
But they little know the heartache
Our smiles hide all the while.
Lord, put your arms around her
And give her a great big hug.
Tell her how much we miss her
And give her all our love.
Lovingly remembered by Eileen and Bud, Robert, Bev and family.

Heaven's gate swung gently open,
The Master called softly, "Come,"
And you, dear ones, took the Master's hand,
And your work on earth was done.
We'll never cease to miss you,
And shed many silent tears,
Because we cannot share with you
Our hopes, our joys, our fears.
But one day, in God's garden,
When the Master calls us to come.
You'll be at the gates with open arms
And say to us, "Welcome Home!"

But broke my heart.

More than me.

AMBROSE--In loving memory of Harry R. Ambrose, April 25, 1943 - March 10, 2008.
A year has come and gone
Love loss - at times difficult to endure
I ask the Creator - Why?, Why?...
But we know the answer.
The memories of the years we had together,
The love that we shared for each other,
The laughter, companionship, the love of music,
Has given me comfort and strength,
As I continue on with each new day.
Gone but not forgotten
Your spirit will always be with me
Forever in my heart.
Loving you and missing you, Gladys.
