ANWHATIN--In loving memory of Charlene Rachel Anwhatin (Auntie, Mom).
A year has passed Charlene (Auntie, Mom)
Since you were called away.
How well do we remember
That sad and weary day.
Suffering much, you murmured not,
We watched you day by day.
We prayed that your dear life
Would not be taken away.
You still live on in the hearts and minds
Of your loving family
You left behind.
While you sleep a peaceful sleep,
Your memory we shall always keep.
Love: Mom, Dad, Karyn, Denzel, Zander and Wayne.

ANWHATIN--In loving memory of a dear son, brother and uncle, Jonas Anwhatin, who passed away April 6, 2004 and would have been 19 years of age on December 22, 2004.
This month comes back with deep regret
It brings back a day we will never forget.
He went away without saying good bye
But our memories of him will never die.
No one knows the grief we bear
When the family meets and he's not there.
The tears we shed will wipe away
But the ache in our hearts will always stay.
He left us so suddenly his thoughts unknown
But he left us with memories
We are proud to own.
Lovingly remembered by Dad, Auntie (Mom) and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, December 22, 2004
ANWHATIN-In loving memory of Jonas Joseph Jr.
There is a bridge of memories
From her to Heaven above
That keeps you very close to us
It's called a bridge of love
As time goes on without you and days turn into years,
They hold a million memories
And a thousand silent tears.
To us you were very special
What more is there to say,
Except to wish with all our hearts,
That you were here today.
Missed by Dad and Auntie, Danny, Steve and Josie.

ASHLEY--In memory of a wonderful Dad, Grandpa and Old Grandpa, Mervin Ashley who passed away on July 25, 2007.
One year has gone by and everyday we think of you and miss you
Thank you for all the wonderful memories,
We miss your kindness, thoughtfulness and just being there when we needed someone,
Your little Angels talk of Old Grandpa and miss the jelly beans, they watch your star at night,
Your empty chair still waits at Loco Beanz where so many people came and chatted,
We were so fortunate to have the time we spent with you,
All the chats and wonderful things we learned about you over the last few years,
We know that God knew the suffering you were going through and took you to a place of peace,
The horrible hurt of losing you has lessened day by day and is replaced with wonderful memories and a peace in knowing that you are in a better place and free from pain.
We have the hope that we will see you again.
Sadly missed and always loved by Linda, Sharon, Dave, Shannon, Paul, Nicole, Shawn, Faith, Shaylee and Jenna.

KENNETH JAMES ASSANCE/ARMSTRONG
May 3, 1955-September 9, 1998
In loving memory of a dear brother, Ken, who passed away 3 years ago,
September 9, 1998.
The blow was great, the shock severe,
I little thought the end was near,
And only those who have lost can tell
The pain of parting without farewell;
More each day I miss you, Brother,
Friends may think the wound is healed,
But they little know the sorrow
That lies within my heart concealed.
--Sadly missed by sister Judy

September 9, 1998.
Those whom we love go out of sight,
But never out of mind;
They are cherished in the hearts
Of those they leave behind.
Loving and kind in all his ways,
Upright and just in all his days;
Sincere and true in heart and mind,
Beautiful memories he left behind.
--Sadly missed by mother Agnes.
Manitoulin Expositor, September 5, 2001
ASSINEWE--In loving memory of a dear wife, mother and grandmother, Mary, who passed away September 18, 2004.
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below
With tiny lights, like Heaven's stars, reflecting on the snow
The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away your tears,
For I am sharing Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the Christmas songs that people hold so dear
The sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir here
I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
It's far beyond description, to hear the angels sing.
I know how much you miss me, I feel the pain within your heart
But I am not so far away, we really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, loved ones, you know I hold you dear.
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I send you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above
I send you each a memory of my undying love.
After all, "LOVE" is the gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important, in the stories Jesus told.
Please love and stay together, as our Father says to do.
For I can't count the blessings, or the love he has for you.
So, have a Merry Christmas and wipe away those tears,
For I am sharing Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
Dearly loved by Julius, Dolly, Gail, Sarah and grandchildren.
