BUBRICK--In loving memory of Doris Russel Bubrick who passed away in Windsor, Ont. February 16, 1979
Tenderly we treasure the past
With memories that will ever last
Sadly missed by her family.

In loving memory of Nellie (McLeod) BUIE a dear sister and sister-in-law, who passed away September 6, 2002.
Look around your garden, Lord,
She won't be hard to find.
She has a face that's full of love
And a heart that's good and kind.
Tell her that we love her
And when she turns and smiles
Put Your arms around her, Lord
And hold her for awhile.
We talk about her often,
We think about her still.
She hasn't been forgotten, Lord
And never, ever will.
--Sadly missed, Love, Jim, Maxine and family

In memory of Retta Lavurn BUIE, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bayward Buie, who died at Thessalon, Sept. 2, 1920, age 1 year, 10 months.
Dear little babe, in dreams we see you.
With loved face sweet and calm
And hear your voice with love rejoicing,
Nestling in the Saviour’s arms.
We think of how we watched your patient suffering.
With the tears glistening in our eye,
As e felt the work of Jesus
Taken you home on high.
One little year ago you left us,
Grieved and sad with a vacant place
But through our days of work and worry,
There’s one little beckoning hand can cheer us in our place
Father, Mother, Brother.
The Recorder, Gore Bay, Thursday, September 8, 1921

BURNETT--In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, Joan, who passed away on December 30, 2002.
If roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for us,
Place them in our Mother's arms
And tell her they're from us.
Tell her we love her and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy,
We do it every day.
But there's an ache within our hearts
Because we are missing her today.
Always remembered in our hearts, Linda, Karen, Kevin, Randy, Murray,
Bruce and families.

BURNETT-In memory of a dear son Perry Burnett, who passed away November 6, 1970.
As I look upon your picture
Sweet memories I recall
Of a face so full of sunshine
A smile for one and all.
Though your smile has gone forever
And your hand I cannot touch
I shall never lose sweet memories
Of the one I have loved so much.
Please God take a message
To him in heaven above
Tell him how much I miss him
And give him all my love.
Lovingly remember by, Mom, Dad, Sisters and Brothers

November 5, 1970.
You fell asleep without good-bye,
But our memories of you will never die;
The tears we shed we can wipe away,

But you left us memories,
We are proud to own.
Always remember by sister, Maxine, Clarence and Mary Ellen Nyman.

BURNETT-In loving memory of a dear brother who passed away Nov. 6, 1970
It’s not the tears that are shed at the time
That tell of the hears that are broken
It’s the lonesome tears in the after years
When the loved ones name is spoken
God took him home, it was his will
But in our hearts we love him still
His memory is as dear today
As in the hour he passed away
We often sit and think of him
For memory is the only friend
That grief can call its own.
Sadly missed, but always remembered by sisters Gail and Lorraine.

This day is remembered and quietly kept
No words are needed, I shall never forget.
For those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day.

And remembering your strength is what keeps me strong.
Knowing that I will see you again
Is what helps me to go on.
Lovingly remembered, Edward.

BURT--Elda Sarah Anne Burt, June 11, 1931 - March 1, 2008.
Mom you were not just a person
You were a miracle!
You were not only a nurse, coach, leader, teacher, artist, writer, maid, politician, referee, gardener, executive, playmate, seamstress...but the fortress behind which our whole family huddled for protection.
You were our spiritual heart of our home - guiding, encouraging, leading and praying.
You were God's hands and feet, His laughter and joy, His tears and sorrow, you were the heart of God personified. You were the joy of my life Mom.
Thank you for still being active in my life.
Missing you!
Marcia and John, grandchildren David and Mary, Thomas and Kyoko and Sister Carmelita M.C.
Manitoulin Expositor, February 25, 2009
BURT--Elda, one year ago you left us, March 2, 2008.
If roses grow in Heaven,
Lord please pick a bunch for me,
Place them in my Mother's arms
And tell her they're from me.
Tell her I love her and miss her,
And when she turns to smile,
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for awhile.
Because remembering her is easy,
I do it every day,
But there's an ache within my heart
Because I am missing her today.
Mom I love you with all my heart. You are sadly missed, and will never be forgotten.
From your daughter Laurie Kay and family--Harald, Amanda and Justin Simon.
Manitoulin Expositor, February 25, 2009
BUZWAH--In loving memory of Tayne Buzwah.
A year has gone since you left us,
But we find an old photograph and see your smile
As I feel your presence anew,
I am filled with warmth
And my heart remembers love.
I read an old Christmas card
Sent many years ago.
The smooth words written then,
Still caress my spirit
And bring me peace.
I remember when you used to be
The laughter we shared
And wonder what you have become
Where are you now?
Where did you go?
When the body is left behind and the
Spirit is released to fly?
Perhaps you are the morning bird,
Singing joyfully at sunrise
Or a butterfly that dances,
So carelessly on the breeze
Or a rainbow of colours
That brightens the stormy sky
Or the fingers of afternoon mist,
Delicately reaching over the distant mountains.
Or the final few rays of the setting sun,
Lighting up the skies,
Edging the clouds with a magical glow.
We miss your being,
But we feel your presence,
In whatever form you choose to take,
However you choose to be.
Your spirit has become for us,
A guardian angel on high -
Guiding, advising and watching over us.
I remember you.
You are with us.
And I'm not afraid...
Sadly missed by Wayne, Madelyn, Savannah and Jerome.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 15, 2005
BUZWAH--In loving memory of Tayne Buzwah.
As I release this butterfly in honour of you
Knowing that you're with us and will always be
We are holding hands, saying a prayer
We close our eyes and I see you here.
Although we feel a bit apart,
And we know you're in good hands
But we are grateful we had so many great years,
You gave us your love, that only a brother can give
We are grateful for the happiness and memories that you've given us.
So on this day we grieve
The day you had to travel alone
But I'm comforted by trust
That we must part for awhile
So we treasure the memories in our hearts
So as I release this butterfly in honour of you.
Though we can not see you or touch you, I know you're near
Your love is around us soft and clear
So I know we will meet again
You'll be waiting with open arms
.--Always loved and remembered by Wayne, Madelyn, Savannah and Jerome.
