CADA--Memoriam for Arnold Angus Frank Cada, March 12, 2008, a date that will forever be in our memories and in our hearts.
It's hard to believe that a year has gone by since your passing. We still count the months since that heart breaking moment when you took your last breath and we knew that you left us. Our thoughts of you are with us each day as we go through and continue with our lives. We think about what you would say or do if you were still with us. Going home and not seeing you in your favourite chair brings back the ache that reminds us that you are not with us anymore. A void is always present as our family gathers together to celebrate family or just special occasions. Our family portrait was complete, and always growing, but now it is like a puzzle with a vital piece missing. It was you that started this puzzle that grew into a beautiful family unit. A legacy you left in our hands; we promised we would honour and nurture it, so that what you started would live on in future generations. We will never forget you and we will tell our children and our grandchildren about you. You will live on in the family that you started because we see, in each other, a piece of you. You have come to some of us in our dreams; you have assured us that you are pain free and happy now. This brings us great comfort to know that you no longer suffer in pain. Knowing you bask in happiness now, in the spirit world, brings us reassurance and serenity enabling us to continue with our lives without you. D&C 6:36 - "Look onto me in every thought; doubt not, fear not."
Forever missed and deeply loved, Georgina Cada and family.

CAMPBELL--In loving memory of my wife Bonnie who left this world April 1, 2005.
God looked around His garden
And He found an empty place
He then looked down upon His earth,
And saw your tired face.
He put His arm around you
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
He knew that you were suffering
He knew that you were in pain
He knew that you would never
Get well on earth again.
He saw that the road was getting rough,
So He closed your weary eyelids,
And whispered "Peace be thine,"
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone,
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
Dearly missed by Ron and Teca-Boo.
Manitoulin Expositor, March 29, 2006
CAMPBELL--In loving memory of Bonnie, April 1, 2005.
God knew that she was suffering
The hills were hard to climb,
So He closed her weary eyelids
And whispered, "Peace be thine,"
Away in the beautiful hills of God,
By the valley of rest so fair,
Some day, we know not when,
We will meet our loved one there.
Love always, Bill, Marilyn and Krystal.
Manitoulin Expositor, April 5, 2006
CAMPBELL--In loving memory of Bonnie Campbell, April 1, 2005 and Maurice Campbell, April 5, 2003.

CAMPBELL--In loving memory of Irene (Parkinson) who passed away May 17, 1996
It's been ten years since we lost you,
But in our heart we know that's not true.
Everything we are and everything we do,
Can be traced back to growing up with you.
You taught us all the important stuff,
We supported each other when times were rough.
A part of you lives inside us still,
Mom, we love you and we always will!
Forever missed and remembered by daughters
Norma Jean and Gloria, son-in-law Walter, and grandchildren Jeffrey and Amy.

CASE--In loving memory of a dear husband and father, Jim, who left us June 28, 1999:
Even though its been two years
The sadness still remains
There's not a day that you're not thought about
Or that we don't speak your name.
Your coat and coveralls still hang
At the door where they always were
Your hat's still in the hallway
Just like when you were well and here.
But then reality comes crashing down
And we know that you are gone
Our tears and prayers can't bring you back
But to us you do live on.
So our prayer is that you're free from pain
And God is taking care of you
But the one thing that we long for most
Is one more day with you.
No longer can we see you
But we know that you're still here
You did not want to leave us
And we feel your presence always near
We know you share our laughter
We know you'll dry our tears
Through the good times and the bad times
You will walk beside us through the years
You will always be a part of life
Even though your life has gone
You taught us strength and closeness
And through us you will live on.
--We miss you more than words can say,
Love and miss you always Dad,
Lori, Matthew, Leanne, Christy, Mike, Mandy, Becky and "Chief."
Manitoulin Expositor, June 27, 2001
CASE--In loving memory of a dear husband and father, Jim, who left us June 28, 1999.
Three years ago, we held your hand
And said "We'd be o.k."
As time goes by, I somehow think
We lied to you that day.
There's not a day that we don't miss you
Your smile, your easy way,
No matter what life handed us
We knew "we'd be o.k."
You always held a joy for life
You always made things right
You were the one who saw us through
All the rough times in our life
We now have that little grandchild
You longed to see before you died
It makes me sad, he'll never know
How hard his Grandpa tried.
His Grandpa wanted to get to take his hand
And hold him when he cries
And watch that first big hockey game
And see the laughter in his eyes
But he will have a special Angel,
In his Grandpa up above,
Who'll watch him from Heaven
And surround him with his love.
If only we could have one wish
To last us our life through
We would wish with all our hearts
That God would give back you.
Dear God, would you please deliver
This message to him, when you're near
We're enclosing hugs and kisses
And sealed the envelope with a tear.
--You are always with us, we miss you more than words can say:
Lori, Matthew, Leanne, Christy, Mike, Connor, Mandy, Becky and Chief.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 26, 2002
CASE, Jim--In loving memory of a dear husband and father who was taken June 28, 1999.
Five years have gone and sometimes,
It just seems like yesterday,
Then sometimes it's forever,
Since you have gone away.
Our lives have changed so very much,
But one thing's constant through,
No matter how life changes,
We will always still miss you.
Sometimes days seem rough and hard,
And I don't know what to do,
Then a gentle peace comes over me,
And it's a hug from you.
I can hear you saying,
"Come on, things aren't that bad"
Then I see your gentle smile,
And remember what we had.
I see our children grown,
How each one carries part of you.
I know that we did something right,
And you'll always see them through.
I see them with their little ones,
With patience through and through,
There's one thing I know for sure,
Their patience came from you!
Our little ones are beautiful,
All with eyes so very blue,
That are filled right full of mischief,
That definitely came from you.
They know God has a special job,
For their "Papa" up above,
But the most important one he has,
Is to watch over us with love.
Maybe he lights the stars at night,
That brightens up the sky,
Maybe he wakes the sun at dawn,
Or sends down the butterflies.
Maybe he helps pour out the rain,
Or makes snowflakes when it's cold,
Or when they see a rainbow,
Maybe he's the pot of gold.
They will know their Papa didn't want,
To leave the earth so soon,
But they have a Papa Angel,
High on a cloud, up by the moon.
As I spend time with our family,
It makes me realize,
You are carried down through generations,
And you will never really die.
God give him a special hug,
Please tell him that we say,
We love him and wish with all our hearts,
That he was here today!
Your are always with us, Love, Lori, Matthew, Leanne, Christy, Mike,
Connor, Mandy, Becky, Ryan, Ella and Chief.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 30, 2004
CASE--In loving memory of a dear husband and father, Jim Case, who lost his battle to cancer June 28, 1999.
We do not sit and cry as much, as we did back then,
We've traded tears for memories, and times of "remember when."
As our lives go on without you, we would have liked the chance to see,
If you could just have stayed with us, how different life would be!
Our kids have all since grown up, with families of their own,
I know you're very proud of them, and the strength they all have shown.
Our grandkids now are seven, our family tree has grown
It makes me sad that they can't see, the "papa" they should have known.
They'll never get to see your smile, or the kindness and patience that you showed,
Your quick wit and gentle manner, and how you loved your family so!
I know a part of you is with us, as life goes on its' way,
You fought so hard to win the war, but in the end you could not stay.
So much in our life has changed, and today we'll shed some tears,
We want you to know we love and miss you, even though it's been ten years.
There is not a day we don't think of you Dad, you are always in our hearts, (we also wonder if the "look" would have the same effect on the Grandkids as it did on ours)!
Lori, Matthew, Leanne, Noah, Owen, Christy, Mike, Connor, Lane, Mandy, Brock, Gabe, Gavin, Becky, Ryan and Ella.

CASE – In loving memory of Wife, Mother and Grandmother, Margaret Case, who left us June 26, 2006.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not meant to be
So he put his arms around you and whispered “Come with me”
With tearful eyes we watched you suffer and watched you fade away
Although we loved you dearly we could not make you stay
A golden heart stopped beating and a warm loving heart to rest
God broke our hearts to prove to us that he only takes the best.
We miss you dearly, Bill and family.
