GILCHRIST--In loving memory of a brother and uncle, Ronald Gilchrist, who passed away April 12, 2008.
May the winds of love blow softly
And whisper so you'll hear
We'll always love and miss you
And wish that you were here.
Forever in our hearts, Myrtle and Jim Dawson and family.

GILMORE-Elizabeth Gilmore, April 1, 2004
God looked around the garden, and found an empty space.
He looked down upon the earth, and saw your tired face.
He put His arms around you, and lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful for He only takes the best.
He knew that you were weary, and He knew you were in pain.
He knew that you would never be well on earth again.
He saw the roads were getting rough, and the hills were hard to climb.
So he closed your weary eyelids, and whispered "Peace Be Thine".
Beautiful things in this life are manifold, tis true,
We count the starts by thousands, the birds and flowers too;
The sunsets and dawnings, rare beauties far and near,
But all the wide world over, there's just one "Mother Dear"
We love and miss you, Mom!
Andrew, Kim, Chelsea and Mitchell; John, Tammy and Noah.
Manitoulin Expositor, April 6, 2005
GILMORE--In loving memory of Mom, Liz Gilmore, April 1, 2004.
Two dear bright eyes, a tender smile,
A loving heart that knew no guile,
Deep trust in God that all was right,
Her joy to make some other bright.
If sick or suffering one she knew,
Some gentle act of love she'd do,
No thought of self, but of "the other"
I know that He said "Well done, dear Mother."
Always missed, John, Tammy and Noah.

GILPIN--In Loving Memory of Margaret Gilpin, June 14, 2006
God saw you getting tired
When a cure was not to be,
So He closed His arms around you
And whispered "Come to me.
"In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were truly broken,
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
Peacefully and free from pain,
We could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.
So keep your arms around her, Lord,
And give her special care,
Make up for all she suffered,
That seemed to us unfair.
So many times we've needed you,
So many times we've cried,
If love could have saved you,
You never would have died.
Loved and dearly missed by George, Jim and Donna, Anna and Ian, Peggy and families.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 13, 2007

-that each day brings us closer to you.
Until we meet again...

GILPIN--In loving memory of a dear wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Margaret Gilpin, who passed away June 14, 2006.
The tears in our eyes we can wipe away,
but the ache in our hearts will always stay.
No one knows the grief we bear,
when our family meets and you aren't there.
You gave us so much life while here,
it doesn't seem you've been gone a 2nd year.
Until we meet again...
Loved and dearly missed by husband George, daughter Peggy, Steve and Chrissy and family, Julie and Emma, Deanna and Arron and family
Manitoulin Expositor, June 11, 2008
GILPIN--In loving memory of a very special lady, Margaret Gilpin, who passed away on June 14, 2006.
God saw she was getting tired and a cure was not to be.
So He put his arms around her and whispered, "Come with me."
With tear-filled eyes we watched her suffer and fade away.
Although we loved her deeply, we could not make her stay.
A Golden heart stopped beating, hard working hands put to rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best
Sadly missed and always loved, Shirley and Dylan.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 10, 2009
GILPIN-In loving memory of a dear mother, Rita Gilpin, who passed away May 19, 2006.
Left behind are beautiful memories of a mother,
So sweet, loving and kind.
In life we loved her dearly,
In death we do the same.
But God called our dear mother home,
He took away her suffering.
And so, we'll trust God's promise sweet,
that someday in heaven again we'll meet.
Sadly remembered but always loved by Irene (Bill), Margaret (Roy), Blair (Sherry), Gary (Barb), Patty (Conrad) and grandchildren.
Manitoulin Expositor, May 16, 2007
GILPIN--In loving memory of a dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Rita Gilpin, who passed away May 19, 2006.
Loved with a love beyond telling,
A garden of beautiful memories,
Sprayed with a million tears.
Greatly missed, but comforted by the thought that she is in the arms of Jesus.
Sadly missed by the Gilpin Family.
