JACKO--In loving memory of our dear mother, Victoria, who passed away
June 22, 2001.
MOM
We Miss so Much
We seem to see the Soft dim light
Recalling her as the Sun's last
Rays over the Rainbow sky
We miss her more as time goes on
We never close our Hearts:
And the Lamp of our love still Burns
Her Heart the truest in the entire World
None on Earth could take her place
God knows how much we miss her
Never shall her memory fade
The joys you've shared and treasured
with each and every one of us
Mom is special, always caring, kind understanding
and her loving Smile
--You will be in Our Hearts Forever, Sons and Daughters, Arthur,
Marie, Ursula, Helen, Rita, Henry, Gloria, Lawrence, Rosie, Betty and
Cecil.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 19, 2002
JACKSON, Judy--In memory of a loving mother, Judy Jackson whom we lost on June 19, 1994.
Ten years have come and gone.
Most days it feels like you just left us yesterday.
Many things have changed, most for the better.
Guided by your wisdom and watched by your spirit.
Always missed, but never forgotten. Suzanne, Michael, Jary & Trevor
Manitoulin Expositor, June 16, 2004
JANSEN--In memory of my brother, my friend, Michael Jansen, January 25,
1980 - February 7, 2003.
Pure Love
I have felt unconditional love
I have been protected by your hands
I have been crushed by your hands
I have held your little hand within mine
I have had my small hand held within your large hand
I have given you advice for many occasions
I have taken advice from you on just as many
I have lied to protect you from discipline
I have had you lie to protect me from a similar fate
I have screamed, yelled and argued with you
I have had you return the favor
I have held you in comfort in your moments of weakness, frustration and pain
I have been held by you in comparable moments
I have shared clothes and animals with you
I have had you share books and toys with me
I have built shelters, swam in ponds and gone sledding with you
I have had you soak me, pull me and lend a helping hand
I have told you many secrets
I have had you share yours with me
I have sat quietly with you through the hard times of our life
I have had you spin me around in a hug to make my hard times better
I have let you read my heart in the best and worst moments ever imagined in
my life
I have teased, laughed, and cried with this wonderful man
I have loved and been loved unconditionally by this child, boy, man
I have had a little, big brother
Kudos to you Michael
You live on in our thoughts and our hearts
You live on in the little foot prints you have left behind for our enjoyment and love

JANSEN--In memory of Michael Benn Jansen who went home with Jesus on February 7, 2003 at age 23 years.
Michael,
You remain always in our thoughts and heart
Your presence does not grow dim nor depart.
Your picture smiles as your children kiss it.
It seems impossible you can miss it.
We are lonely here but we look around,
And everywhere signs of your life can be found.
The door you built, the cradles sweet,
Our corner shelves you made so neat.
Your coat, your boots, your sweater soft,
Your little girls cuddle them and don't feel so lost.
Alexandra laughs and we do too,
For she's a living image of you.
As Brianna sleeps with profile tender,
We see a face that we remember.
We know you are safe in Heaven above,
Enjoying peace and Jesus' love.
You trusted Christ to forgive your sin
So God's open gate you did enter in.
Your daughter says, "He beat us there."
But left us here just to prepare
The Way is clear since Jesus died.
For you and me He was crucified.
"Father forgive me," is all we need say
And we are ready for Heaven right away.
If death comes suddenly we need not fear,
For the Angels of God will be hovering near.
Already your Uncle Mark has joined you, Michael.
Soon there will be more as we end life's cycle.
What a reunion it will be on God's glorious shore,
When our loved ones we see to part no more.
Until then, we thank God for the time you were given.
And ask Him to ease the sorrow that is hidden.
Always missed and lovingly remembered by, Mom and Dad, Serena and Marius and
family, Kyla, Erica, Peter and daughters Alexandra and Brianna.
Manitoulin Expositor, February 9, 2005
JANSEN--In memory of my brother Michael Jansen.
TIME
Sometimes the time just slips away
And you are left with the memories
I always think of you and smile,
And be happy for the time I had you with me
I won't forget..
So don't forget the memories we made
So many in my mind,
I still don't understand
How do you get that lonely?
How do you hurt that bad
To make the call
That having no life at all
Is better than the life you had
How do you feel so empty?
When your life had so much to show
How do you get that lonely?
And nobody knows?
Loved and missed dearly by your sister Kyla.

JANSEN--In loving memory of Michael Jansen, a beloved son, brother and daddy, who went to be with Jesus three years ago on February 7, 2003 at age 23.
It seems so short,
Oh very short since Daddy went away.
I remember all the things
We did like it was yesterday.
Those simple words of Alexandra, now eight,
Express our thoughts too.
"That's Daddy's cup," Brianna states.
We look and know it's true.
A hidden memory, made at three,
Surfaced to be enjoyed anew.
We thank our Lord for memories sweet.
They can make us laugh or without warning, weep.
Our God who loves us, took Michael home.
Yet he walks with us,
So we are not alone.
God allows us to have
Both joys and tears,
And we are thankful
For Michael's precious years.
Forever remembered by Mom and Dad, Serena and Marius and Family, Kyla, Erica and Thomas, Peter, Alexandria and Brianna.
Manitoulin Expositor, February 8, 2006
JANSEN--In memory of Michael Jansen, our son, brother and father, who went to be with Jesus on February 7, 2003 at age 23.
"Children are an inheritance from the Lord." Psalm 127:3
A precious child God gave to us one day,
But did not tell us how long he would stay.
Michael Benn was the name he bore,
He gave us work and fun and so much more.
We remember how he liked to eat,
Especially if Mom baked something sweet.
He loved to follow Dad around,
With the machinery he could always be found.
He joined all games and chores with his sisters three,
And big brother to Peter, he was happy to be.
A kinder husband you never saw,
His loving care for his children filled us with awe.
We miss our Michael more than we can say
Still we thank our God we could watch him grow and play.
All our children really belong to God alone,
Our inheritance to enjoy until one of us is called to His Heavenly Home.
With loving memories, Mom and Dad, Serena and Marius and family, Kyla, Erica and Thomas and family, Peter, and daughters Alexandra and Brianna.

JANSEN--In loving memory of Michael Jansen, January 25, 1980- Feb 7, 2003.
I need to say goodbye although you're with me.
I stand beside your grave, as though you are here.
I miss you terribly And when I turn to you, you're always near.
I talk to you as though you can hear me,
And so goodbye does not mean you are gone:
So long as I still love you, you live on.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal.
My memories of you are many
And those I often share,
My way to keep you alive with me,
And let you know how much I care
Dearly missed and always thought of by your sister Kyla.
Manitoulin Expositor, February 14, 2007
JANSEN--In loving memory of Michael Jansen who left us for Heaven on February 7, 2003.
"Be still and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10
This week we walked across the snow,
To visit a gravestone the children know.
They brushed the snow off so they could see
The words and the pictures under the big tree.
We stood and talked in our memory spot
Of how we miss our loved one with every thought.
How precious to know he is with God above,
So we softly sing of Jesus' love.
Five years have gone both slow and fast
Each family member treasures memories of the past.
God gives us strength to move on each day
And with joy we watch the children laugh and play.
Forever we will miss Michael's shy, quick smile
But know we will meet again after a while.
God brings us comfort as in His Word we see
"I am the Lord that healeth thee." Exodus 15:26
With thanks to God for lending us our Michael for twenty-three years.
Mom and Dad, Serena and Marius and family, Kyla, Erica and Thomas and Keira, Peter, and daughters Alexandra and Brianna.

In loving memory of their darling son and brother, Clarence JOHNSON, killed by lightning, May 9th, age 26 years 10 months 18 days.
We miss thee dearest brother,
From they familiar place,
We do not hear thy footsteps near
Nor see thy smiling face
We miss thee at our lonesome home,
We feel they absence there
And oh what sorrow hurts our hearts
To see they vacant chair.
Our home is sad without thee,
How desolate each heart.
O could we hear thy voice again
What joy it would impart.
We miss thee, oh we miss thee,
Whatever way we go,
The stroke of death that snatched thee hence
Hath filled our hearts with woe
Again we hope to meet thee
When life’s short journey’s o’er
Oh yes we hop to meet thee
On Heaven’s Eternal shore
-by a friend

JOHNSTON--In loving memory of a very dear grandmother and great grandmother Verna Catharine, who passed away 10 years ago, January 31, 1990.
Sometimes an old-fashioned song
Brings us a thought of you;
Sometimes a flower as we pass along,
Or a sky that is azure blue;
Or a silver lining in the clouds
When the sun is peeping through.
Only a memory of bygone days
And a sigh for a face unseen, dear Grandma;
A constant feeling that God alone
Knows best what should have been.
--You will always be remembered and sadly missed by granddaughter Jennifer (Michael), great-granddaughters Jessica, Rebecca and Savannah.

JOLY – In memory of a dear wife, mother and grandmother, Nola Joly, nee Burnett, who passed away October 25, 1995.
There’s a bridge of memories
From here to heaven above
That keeps you very close to us
It’s called the bridge of love.
As time goes by without you
And the days turn into years
They hold a million memories
And a thousand silent tears
To us you are so special
What more is there to say
Except we wish with all our hearts
That you were here today.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Jack, Paula, John, Dustin, Sabrina and Chris.
