LOCKEYER-In loving memory of a loved "Dad" and "Paw" Clifford Lockeyer who left us suddenly on November 22nd, 1967.
Memory drifts to scenes fast.
Time rolls on, but memories last,
Sunshine passes, shadowns (sic) fall,
Love's remembrance outlasts all.
Ever remembered by Toots, Murray, and family

LOCKEYER-In loving memory of a dearly loved “Dad” and “Paw” Clifford Lockeyer who left us suddenly on November 22nd, 1967.
It doesn’t matter the day or the year.
There’s always memories, always a tear
Memories don’t fade, they just grow deep
For a Dad and Paw we loved, but could not keep.

LOCKEYER-- In loving memory of Orval (Dubs) Lockeyer, dear husband, father and grandfather who passed away July 5, 2006.
This month comes back with deep regret
It brings back a day we will never forget.
He went away without saying good-bye
But our memories of him will never die.
No one knows the grief we bear
When the family meets and he's not there.
The tears we shed will wipe away.
But the ache in our hearts will always stay.
He left us so suddenly his thoughts unknown
But he left us with memories
We are proud to own.
Lovingly remembered by wife Anita, Greg and Leanne and family, Tim and Janyn and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, July 4, 2007
LOCKEYER-- In loving memory of a dear grandpa, Dubs, who left us July 5, 2006.
What I would give if I could say "Hello Papa" in the same old way
To hear your voice and see your smile
Or just to sit and chat a while.
I was not there to say goodbye
Perhaps it was just as well,
Because I lost a piece of my heart
The night you fell.
To my loving pappa, I loved so much,
I'll never forget your gentle touch.
I mourn for you in silence
No eyes could see me weep
But only a silent tear is shed
While others are fast asleep.
Lovingly remembered from your "Chums", grandsons; Devin, Justin, Riley and Caleb.
Manitoulin Expositor, July 4, 2007
LOCKEYER-- In loving memory of our dear brother Dubs Lockeyer who passed away July 5, 2006.
The angels sang Amazing Grace,
The Lord came down to touch his face
He held his hand and whispered low"
Come with me Dubs it's time to go"
The gates of Heaven opened wide
The angels lined up side by side
A special gift was on its way
The day the Lord took Dubs away
.
Always loved and never to be forgotten, Don and Karlene and family, Grenville and Brenda and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, July 4, 2007
LOCKYER--In loving memory of my mother Annie, who passed away on October 7, 2001.
Though her smile is gone forever,
And her hands I cannot touch,
Still I have so many memories,
Of the one I loved so much.
Her memories are my keepsake
With which I'll never part.
God has her in his keeping
I have her in my heart.
--Sadly missed and never forgotten by her daughter, Sally Lachapelle.

LOCKYER, BESSIE & JAMES--Bessie, September 22, 1927 to August 6, 2004 & James, December 26, 1919 to September 28, 1989
Our lives go on without you,
And nothing is the same.
We have to hide our heartache,
When someone speaks your name.
We can't reach out and touch you,
But we know that you are near.
You will always walk beside us,
And will always hold you near.
Forever in our hearts.
Sadly missed by Karen, Brian and Calann, and families

LOCKYER, Herman--In memory of Herman Lockyer who passed away in August of 1990.
A loving Dad and Papa
We cannot control the movement of time
Nor can we control our own destiny or the destiny of those we love
But we can take comfort in knowing
that those who have lived in our hearts
are never really gone.
For as long as we keep them with us,
in our hearts and our thoughts,
they will be with us always.
For love which is timeless,
never ceases to exist.
We take comfort knowing that you were there with open arms to greet our
Mom and Gramma, Rosemary, Bruce, Shannon, BJ.
Manitoulin Expositor, July 28, 2004
LOCKYER--In loving memory of our parents and Grandma and Papa Jean & Herman Lockyer, June 28th, 2004 and August 13, 1990.
At the opening of the buds
And the rebirth of the spring
At the blueness of the skies
And in the warmth of summer
At the rustling of the leaves
And in the beauty of the autumn
At the blowing of the wind
And the chill of winter
We remember you.
Rosemary, Bruce, Shannon and Joel.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 29, 2005
LOCKYER--In memory of our parents and papa and gramma Jean, June 28th, 2004 and Herman Lockyer, August 13, 1990.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep;
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow;
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain;
When you awaken in the morning's hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight;
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there, I did not die.
Cherished in our hearts; Rosemary, Bruce, Shannon and Joel.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 28, 2006
LOCKYER--In loving memory of our mom, Papa and Gramma Jean and Herman Lockyer.
The memory we hold is a treasure,
The loss a life time regret
But we who loved you dearly,
Try to think God's will was best.
To love, to cherish and to never forget.
Heather, Jamie, Allison and Julia. Our "wee man Corben" will know you in spirit.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 28, 2006
LOCKYER-- In loving memory of Jean (2004) and Herman (August 1990) our parents,
Grandma and Grandpa.
You are always with us.
You are the whisper of the wind,
The sound of the rain that lulls us to sleep.
You are the smells of our favourite foods you cooked for us
You are the scent of the perfume you wore and your favourite flowers.
You are the colours of the rainbow
You are the stars twinkling at us on a clear night
You are the Northern Lights dancing
You are Christmas!
You are our angel.
You are the place we came from,
Our first home, our map we follow with each step we take.
You are our first love, our first friend, our first memory.
Nothing on earth can separate us, not time, not space, not even death.
Missing you with love,
Son Tom and wife Jen, grandchildren Julia, Jamie and Allison, great grandson Corbin and their mother Heather. Daughter Rosemary and Bruce and grandchildren Shannon and Joel.
Manitoulin Expositor, August 8, 2007
LOVE--In loving memory of our beloved daughter Kathy Love and our dear Grandson Brody Love who left us so tragically on January 7, 2006.
We little knew that morning
That God was going to call your names,
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you two,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories
Your love is still our guide
And though we cannot see you
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
Forever in our hearts, sadly missed by Mom and Dad, Grandpa and Grandma
Freeman and all their families.

LOVE--In loving memory of our beloved daughter Kathy Love and our dear grandson Brody Love who were taken from us so tragically on January 7, 2006.
We little knew that morning
That God was going to call your names,
In life we loved you dearly
In Death we do the same,
It broke our hearts to lose you two
You did not go alone
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
Tonight the stars are gleaming
On two lonely, silent graves
Where sleeps in dreamless slumber
Two we loved but could not save.
No one knows the silent heartaches
Only those who have lost can tell
Of the grief that we bear in silence
For the two we loved so well.
May the winds of love blow softly
And whisper so you can hear
We will always miss you and love you
And wish that you were here.
Forever in our hearts, sadly missed by Mom and Dad, Grandpa and Grandma Freeman and all their families.
