I'm writing this from heaven, where I dwell with God above.
Where there's no more tears or sadness, there's just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy because I am out of sight.

The passing of such an innocent little one

A year ago we had to face the pain
Of saying farewell to our precious April Renee
Our niece, our cousin so full of life and laughter
Without her how can life ever be the same again.
God took her so quietly without us knowing
Toughest part was to accept that she was really gone
But our sweet memories of April kept us going
We knew she'd want us to have the strength to carry on.
At first it was hard to mention her name
Without a tear coming down our eyes
Christmas, birthdays and holidays were not the same
Without April's presence and her adorable smiles.
They say time will heal as a year goes by
Knowing April is in a better place in our heaven above
Eases that pain of letting go and we no longer cry
