Manitoulin Expositor, August 29, 2001
MCLEAN--In loving memory of Don and Nellie.
There is a sad and sweet remembrance,
There is memory fond and true;
There is a token of affection

We never part from those we love
No distance can divide,
For every day down memory's lane
We still walk side by side.

MCMURRAY--In memory of a loving husband, father and grandfather John Thomas, who passed away March 20, 2005.
We little knew that morning,
That God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone;
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
Your love is still our guide;
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
And nothing seems the same;
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again.
Always loved and remembered by your loving wife Margaret, daughter Adele,
son Kevin and Carrie, grandchildren Jasmine, Austin and Faith.
Manitoulin Expositor, April 5, 2006
MCMURRAY-In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother Katie May who passed away October 19, 1967.

we miss you mom, and always will.
Lovingly remembered by son Bev, daughter-in-law Sandra and grandson Kevin.

MCMURRAY—In loving memory of a dear and precious wife, mother and
grandmother, Katie, who passed away October 19, 1967.
The month of October, comes with regret
It is a month we’ll never forget
Thirteen years have passed, since that sad day
When the one we loved so dearly was called away
More and more each day we miss you
Friends may think the wound is healed
But no one knows the sorrow
Lies within our hearts concealed
--Never forgotten by husband Bill and family.

MCMURRAY-In loving memory of a dear husband, Kenneth McMurray, who passed away so suddenly on November 4, 1976.
I remember the day I met you
The day God chose to make you mine,
I remember the day he took you
And I will till the end of time.
Among my tears and heartaches,
There’s one thing that makes me glad
That you chose me to share
Those precious years we had.
If teardrops were a stairway
And memories were a lane,
I’d walk all the way to heaven, Ken
And bring you home again.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by your wife Reola.

MCMURRAY-In loving memory of our dear father, Kenneth McMurray, who passed away November 4, 1976.
Please God, forgive a silent tear
A fervent wish our Dad was here,
There are others, yes we know,
But he was ours, we loved him so.
Dear God, take a message to our dad,
In heaven above,
Tell him how much we miss him
And give him our love.
Sadly missed but always in our hearts by daughters Sheila, Connie,
Kimberley, Tammy and son Chris.

MCMURRAY-In loving memory of a beloved husband and father, Kenneth, who passed away November 4, 1976.
A cluster of precious memories lie
Sprayed with a million tears
Wishing God had spare you
If only a few more years.
It broke my heart to lose you
But you did not go alone
For part of me went with you
The day God called you home.
No one you loved was by your side
To hear your last faint sigh
To whisper just a loving word,
Before you closed your eyes.
--Sadly missed and always remembered by your beloved wife Reola, and
children Sheila, Connie, Kim, Tammy and Chris.

In loving memory of a dear husband and father Kenneth MCMURRAY who died so suddenly on November 4, 1976.
As we look upon your pictures
Sweet memories we recall,
Of a face so full of sunshine
A smile for one and all.
Though your smile is gone forever,
And your hand we cannot touch,
We shall never lose sweet memories
Of the ones we loved so much.

MCMURRAY, Leslie--In loving memory of Leslie McMurray who passed away August 4, 2003.
In tears we saw you sinking
And watched you fade away
Our hearts were really breaking
But we could not make you stay.
God watched you as you suffered
He knew you had your share
He tenderly closed your weary eyes
And took you in his care.
But when we saw you sleeping
Peacefully free from pain
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again
Our hearts still ache with sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
Only God will know
To the place of rest we wandered
Where we say a little prayer
No one knows the heartache
As we turn and leave you there
We think of you in silence
Your name we often recall
There is nothing left to answer
But your picture on the wall
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
May you always walk in sunshine
And God's love around you flow
For the happiness you gave us
No one will ever know.
Love husband Doug, Rick, Jan, Deb and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, August 4, 2004
MCMURRAY--In loving memory of a dear sister Leslie who passed away August 4, 2003.
Look around your garden Lord,
She won't be hard to find,
She has a face that's full of love,
And a heart that's good and kind,
Tell her that we love her,
And when she turns and smiles,
Put your arms around her Lord,
And hold her for a while.
We talk about her often,
We think about her still,
She hasn't been forgotten Lord,
And never, ever will.
Sadly missed and loved by brother Harry Boniface.
Manitoulin Expositor, August 11, 2004
McMURRAY, LESTIE--In loving memory of Lestie McMurray, wife, mother, grandmother, who left us August 4, 2003.
Every day in some small way,
Memories of you come our way.
You meant so much to us,
But nothing we can say,
Can tell the sadness in our hearts,
As we think of you each day.
We will never know a greater gift,
Than the years we shared with you.
Lovingly remembered but sadly missed by,
Doug and family

MCMURRAY--In loving memory of Lestie McMurray who passed away August 4, 2003.
It's lonely here without you.
We miss you more each day.
For life is not the same to us
Since you were called away.
They say memories are golden
Well, maybe that is true.
But we never wanted memories
We only wanted you.

MCMURRAY--In loving memory of Reola McMurray who passed away Dec. 1, 2001.
If we could have a lifetime wish
And one dream that could come true
We would pray to God with all our
Hearts just to see and speak to you.
A thousand words won't bring you back.
We know because we've tried
And neither will a million tears
We know because we've cried.
You've left behind our broken hearts
And precious memories too.
But we've never wanted memories
We only wanted you.
Sadly missed by Ed, Sheila, Shannon, Marissa and Michael.

Written in memory of Mrs. John MCNICHOL, who died at her home, Grimesthorpe, January 4th, 1909 aged 79 years.
A loving voice from us is gone,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in our home
That never can be filled.
Though our hearts were sorely grieved
We yet could weep for joy
To think dear mother is redeemed
And rests in endless joy.
Now we thy children who remain
Shall strive that city fair to gain,
And as a token of our love
We’ll seek a home in heaven above.

MCNEIL, Mike--In memory of Mike McNeil who left us one year ago July 14, 2003.
Sometimes an old fashioned song
Brings us a thought of you;
Sometimes a flower as we pass along,
Or a sky that is azure blue;
Or a silver lining in the clouds
When the sun is peeping through.

MCVEY- In loving memory of Cecil, 1912- May 27,1995
Dearest Dad:
We miss your smile, but carry it in our memory,
We miss your laugh, a treasure put away
We miss your twinkle in your eyes, yet you've made the sky brighter
We miss you here, today and will always,
But when the mists have gone away
In the crystal light of Heaven,
Just as clear as clear can be,
We will hold you and embrace you
For all eternity.
--All our love, your family.
