One year ago, I lost my best friend
Yes he is gone forever, people say that
In time I will get over him, but right now
I miss him so much that my heart aches.
He was with me everywhere I went
He was my support, my reward in times of fun.
Times when I would get up through the night
Just to be with him.
He was the last thing on my mind at night
and first thing in the morning.
