MIDDAUGH--In loving memory of David Middaugh, Dec. 1961 - Feb. 1982. Roxanne Middaugh Campbell , July 1964 - June 1988.
May the winds of love blow softly
And whisper so you hear.
We will always love and miss you
And wish that you were here.
For all that life has given us
And all that's left to do,
We know no greater treasure
Than the days we spent with you.
So if our tears should fall today
Perhaps they should be shed.
For all the years without you
That still lie far ahead.
Lovingly remembered by Mom and Dad.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 8, 2005
MIDDAUGH--In memory of David Darrel Middaugh, who passed away tragically on February 12, 1982.

24 years have passed since we lost you.
Gone are the days we used to share
But in our hearts you will always be there.
Dearly loved and missed, Freida, Murray, Meghan and Kaitlyn.

MIDDAUGH--In loving memory of a dear father, grandfather and
great-grandfather, Leland, who passed away December 31, 1999.
We think of you in silence,
We often speak your name,
We feel again the bitter blow,
That should've of never came.
Each morning when we awake,
And know that you are gone,
No one knows the heartache,
As we try to carry on.
Our hearts still ache in sadness,
And secret tears still flow.
What it meant to lose you Dad,
No one will ever know,
Our thoughts are always with you,
Your place no one can fill,
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
They say that time heals everything,
But we know that isn't so,
Because it hurts just as much, Dad
As it did two years ago.
--Sadly missed and always remembered by daughter Karol and family,
son Karmon (wife Korlee), grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Manitoulin Expositor, December 24, 2001
MIDDAUGH--In loving memory of a dear mother, nana and great nana,
Mildred (Millie, who crossed over March 26, 2000.
God looked around his garden
And found an empty place
He then looked upon the earth
And saw her tired face
He put His arms around her
And lifted her to rest
God's garden must be beautiful
He always takes the best
He knew that she was suffering
He knew that she was in pain
He knew that she would never
Get well on earth again
He saw the road getting tough
And the hills were hard to climb
So He closed her weary eyelids
And whispered Peace be Thine
It broke our hearts to lose her
But she didn't go alone
For part of us went with her
The day God called her home.
--Sadly missed and always remembered by daughter Karol and family,
son Karman (wife Korlee), grandchildren and great grandchildren.

MIDDAUGH (BOWERMAN), Mildred (Milly)--In loving memory of a dear
mother and friend whom God called home on March 26, 2000.
Since mom went away,
It seems she's nearer than before
We cannot touch her hand,
And yet she's with us more and more
And the years have never lessened,
The longing in our hearts
That came the day we realized
That we must dwell apart.
Just as long as memory lives
Our mother cannot die
For in our hearts she's living still
As passing years go by.
Lovingly remembered by, daughter Karol, son Carmen (wife Coralee),
grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Manitoulin Expositor, March 31, 2004
MIDDAUGH--In loving memory of Stewart, dear Dad and friend who passed away August 20, 2004.
God saw you getting tired when a cure was not to be.
So he closed his arms around you
And whispered, "Come to me."
You don't deserve what you went through,
So he gave you rest.
God's garden must be beautiful
He only takes the best.
And when we saw you sleeping
So peaceful and free from pain
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
Friends may be friends if they be true
But we lost our true friend when we lost you.
Never forgotten, Freeman and Lorna.
Manitoulin Expositor, August 17, 2005
MIDDAUGH--In loving memory of a dear uncle, Stewart, who God called home one year ago, August 20, 2004.
What I would give to hold your hand
Your happy face to see.
To hear your voice and see your smile
That meant so much to me.
Nothing can ever take away
The love a heart holds dear
Fond memories linger every day
Remembrance keeps you near.
Until we meet again some happy day.
Lovingly remembered by niece, Karol.

MIDDAUGH-Sylvia-In loving memory on Mother's Day, of a loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother.
Years of sacrifices, little of play
Loving, giving, smother the way
Life is too short mother ever to pay
Strong in adversity, ready to do
Gentle, unselfish, a friend ever true
Our best possession, Mother, was you
Our hearts are full of sorrow
And tears have dimmed our eyes
But we shall meet her once again
In the home beyond the skies.
Dearly loved & sadly missed by daughter Faye-son Willard & Jeane
granddaughter Cheryl, Wayne & great grandchildren

MIDDAUGH--In loving memory of Verna, dear Mom and friend who passed away December 16, 2004.
If roses grow in Heaven
Lord please pick a bunch for us
Place them in our Mother's arms
And tell her they're from us.
Tell her we love her, and miss her
And when she turns to smile
Place a kiss upon her cheek
And hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy
We do it every day
There's an ache within our hearts
We miss her every day.
But we know she is in Heaven
With Dad, in God's beautiful garden.
Never forgotten, Freeman and Lorna.

The autumn leaves have fallen to the ground,
This was your favorite season,
For us, sweet sorrow is in the air
It's the time you took the blue road 5 years ago
You left behind a million
Great memories, smiles and hugs
We treasure them and hold them close
To our hearts today and everyday
Meegwetch Mom

MIGWANS--In memory of Mrs. Ellen Migwans (Born November 16 1941, Died September 20, 2001).
A song from the heavens today
A soft lullaby and the sound of distant drum
My guardian angel swooped down from outer space
To play a sweet song for me
It's a song of beautiful remembrance
So I'll remember today Nokomis's
Generosity, kindness, love
And all the golden times we shared.
In Remembrance our Nokomis Ellen Migwans,
the brightest star in
Our sky
From grandchildren Ryan, Sage, Tashina, Marshall, Marlon, Nathan, Joe,
Jordan, Neil, Wassnode, Brooke, Russlle Jr, Vince and Adam and great
grandchildren.

The sun sets, but gentle warmth still lingers on the land
The tide recedes, but leaves behind the seashells and the sand,
The music stops but echoes on still in sweet refrains
For every joy that passes
Something beautiful remains

Mishibinijima (Simon) who passed away July 30, 2003.
Journey To The Spirit World (Balance of Fire Woman, Alison C. Simon)
I am free to feel the great mystery of life
The unforeseen tragedy and treasure and treasure of my husband
His spirit now flows freely
I have the freedom to enjoy the pleasures in life
To hold the precious sacred joys of life
To carry the essence of love
To hold the passion of such beauty
Freedom to dance knowing his love is in my heart
His presence is free with Great Spirit
His stigma as a man lingers in my heart
When my heart yearns, his love carries me through another day
His presence and love flows through my dreams
Dreams of such beauty, passion, strength, and love with Great Spirit
It is an honour to walk with such beauty within
Free to have honoured and fulfilled his sacred journey as man and wife
I now have the freedom to walk with such passion for life
To have gained such wisdom and knowledge
Where two hearts have joined, one is set free
Great Spirit called and I honoured this beautiful journey
To his last breath, I sang and prayed for all that he shared here on his
Earth walk
I have the freedom to celebrate his life
Soaring with the Eagles, over the rainbows, amongst the Great Northern
Lights
He is now free with unconditional love with his ancestors
He is free with Creation
He is free with love.
