ROBINSON--In loving memory of a dear father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Garnet, who passed away May 14, 2008.
In tears we saw you sinking
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping
So peacefully from pain,
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
Always lovingly remembered by wife Alice, daughters Sandra and Jennifer, son Donald, and their families.
Manitoulin Expositor, May 13, 2009
ROBINSON-In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, Laureen, who passed away April 30, 2003.
You tried so hard to stay with us
But your fight was all in vain.
God took you in his loving arms
And freed you from your pain.
You didn't deserve what you went through
And so, he gave you rest.
Heavens music will be beautiful
Because now he has the best.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Jim, Mary, Amanda, and Crystal

ROBINSON--In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, Laureen, who passed away April 30, 2003.
A million times we've needed you,
A million times we've cried.
If love alone could've saved you,
You never would have died.
In life we loved you dearly,
In death we love you still.
In our hearts you hold a place,
No one else will ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone.
Part of us went with you,
The day God took you home.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Jim, Mary, Amanda and Crystal.
Manitoulin Expositor, April 27, 2005
ROBINSON--In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, Laureen, who passed away on April 30, 2003.
When family ties are broken
And loved ones have to part
It leaves a wound that won't heal
Deep in our hearts.
Remembering you is easy,
We do it every day
Missing you is a heartache
Which never goes away.
Thinking of you in silence,
No eyes will see us weep
Many silent tears are still shed
While others are asleep.
Always loved and remembered by Jim, Mary, Amanda and Crystal.
Manitoulin Expositor, April 26, 2006
ROBINSON--In loving memory of a dear mother and grandmother, Laureen Robinson, who passed away April 30, 2003.
You were a precious gift from God above,
So much beauty, grace and love.
You touched our hearts in so many ways,
Your smile was bright even on the bad days.
You heard God's whisper calling you home,
You didn't want to go and leave us alone.
You loved us so much, you held on tight,
'Til all the strength was gone and you could no longer fight.
So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away,
Knowing that with our love we will be together again someday.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Jim, Mary, Amanda and Crystal.

Beautiful memories
Are wonderful things.
They last till the longest day.
They never wear out,
They never get lost
And can never be given away.
To some, you may be forgotten
To others a part of the past,
But to us who loved and lost you
Your memories will always last.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Jim, Mary, Amanda and Crystal.

ROBINSON, Randy--In loving memory of Randy Robinson who passed away June 27, 2002.
You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye
You were gone before I knew it,
And only God knew why
A million times I needed you,
A million times I cried
If love alone could have saved you,
You never would have died
In life I loved you dearly
In death I love you still
In my heart you hold a place,
That none could ever fill
It broke my heart to lose you,
But you didn't go alone
For part of me went with you,
The day God took you home.

"I Can Dream" by Annabelle Aeng.
There's no fairy godmother,
To make our wish come true.
No prayer on a fallen star,
No magic potion in a jar.
But I can dream and when I do,
I dream that we are here with you.
We miss you! With love, Melanie and Kevin.

ROBINSON, Randy--In loving memory of my husband Randy who passed away June 27, 2002.
You will embark on a fair sea
At times there will be fair weather, but not always
You will meet storms and overcome them.
You will take turns to steer your boat through fair weather and foul
Never lose courage.
Safe harbour awaits you both in the end.

Loved and remembered always, your "B".

ROBINSON--In Loving Memory of Ruth Laurene Robinson, wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
We are thinking of you today Mum
But that's not new
We thought of you yesterday
And the day before that too.
No one knows the sorrow we share
When family meets and you are not there
We hold our tears when we speak your name
But the ache in our hearts remains the same
And memories we are proud to own still remain.
You left us on January 23, 2006.

ROBINSON--In loving memory of a dear father and grandfather, Seward, who passed away November 9, 1998.
There is a bridge of memories
From here to Heaven above
That keeps you very close to us
It's called a bridge of love
As time goes on without you
And days turn into years
They hold a million memories
And a thousand silent tears
To us you were very special
What more is there to say
Except to wish with all our hearts
That you were here today.

ROSE-Donald William-In loving memory of a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle, who passed away November 19, 1975.
It seems so strange that those we need
And those we love the best
Are just the one God called away
And took them home to rest
But everytime I think of you Don
I seem to hear God say,
Have faith and trust my promise is
We’ll meet again some day.

ROSE, Donald William—In loving memory of a dear son, who passed away November 19, 1975.
They say time heals all sorrow
And helps us to forget
But time has only proved to us
How much we miss you yet
So many things have happened
Since you were called away
So many things to share with you
Had you been left to stay
Everyday in some small way
Memories of you come to mind
Though absent you are very near
Still missed, still loved and always dear.

And those he loved remember.

ROSZEL--In loving memory of Ronald, May 2, 2001.
He fought so hard to stay with us
He knew we'd miss him so
But God knew he was hurting
And said it's time to go.
He suffered long without complaint
Oh yes, he paid his dues
He never once said "pity me"
Just smiled and saw it through.
His pain has stopped, the hurting done,
How we miss his dear sweet face
God took his hand and led him home
He's in a better place.
One year ago he left us
With fond memories ever more
We all know he will be waiting
On the other shore.

Just like a beautiful long stemmed rose,
Her precious memory grows and grows.

"Heaven's Latest Angel"
"Silently, one by one, in the infinite meadows of heaven,
blossomed the lovely stars, the forget-me-nots of Angels"
Such a young woman living grown up dreams
Shooting for the sky
With a smile and eyes that beam
Her living an example
Her death was a surprise
Heaven's latest angel
Finally gets to fly.
She touched so many lives
She made us see the light
Dreams are only dreams
Unless we live them day and night
Her life here may have ended
But her soul will never die
Heaven's latest angel
Finally gets to fly.
Nothing left to ground her
Spirit ... finally free
The world hers to discover
"From sea to shining sea"
Yearning for the blue skies
As she waves one last good-bye
Heaven's latest angel
Finally gets to fly.
Lovingly remembered by her brothers Mark and Eugene and sisters Natalie, Michelle and Anna.

ROY--Heidi Louanne Sarah. June 28, 1986 - January 12, 2006
You left my side so swiftly
My heart so filled with grief
I think of you so often
These words I now repeat
When in the sky a rainbow
I always think of you
The colours are so vivid
You're always in my view
Each day the sky an angel
Will always follow me
Wings of the brightest sunshine
Forever you will be
May rainbows always follow
Where you may go
So I can trace the beauty
Of the love I used to know
You stay within my heart
My child of gentle grace
Forever you are etched with love
Within my arms embraced
You'll never be forgotten
You live within my dreams
My perfect gentle daughter
Your rainbow always gleams
In prayer I say so sadly
I wish that you were here
Then I am reminded
Your wings forever near
Dreams of you I treasure
As time goes slowly by
Your rainbow showing brightly
My gift within the sky.
Lovingly remembered by her mom May (Tut) Roy

ROY--In memory of our sister and auntie Heidi Louanne Sarah. June 28, 1986 - January 12, 2006
She is gone, but not forgotten
Her memory lives on
Heidi, you were a blessing
Who fulfilled our lives for a while.
Now our eyes are filled with sorrow
For without you is how we face tomorrow
Laughter is how we remember you best
Full of faith, sunshine, and happiness.
Baseball, hockey, friends, family, and cheer
Just a few of the things that you held dear.
Holidays and birthdays will never be the same
Without you there to argue about who's gonna win the game.
What will the Playboyz do without their biggest fan?
They'll probably still hear you yelling as we all know you can.
God is smiling down as you watch us from above,
Now He has our biggest fan with that perfect golden smile.
Save a game for us because we'll be seeing you one day,
Reunited in the Spirit World, for eternity we will stay.
Our good times are now a memory Know that you are in our hearts.
We love you.

Remembering You With Gladness
"When you were born, on that special day
I held you close to me
And joy overflowed from deep in my heart
With a power I'd never conceived.
And I knew from that very moment
That you were a gift of love
Sent to bless my life in so many ways
Truly sent from God above.
Watching you grow was a privilege
Daily marveling at the changes in you
Finding it hard to contain my excitement
Dreaming of all the future things we'd do.
Both wanting time to slow down and speed up
Sometimes wishing a baby you could stay
Other times, wishing the years could move faster
Perhaps in my own selfish way.
For I had so many things to show you
Things planned for us to do and see
Wanting to give you every experience
That a magical childhood would need.
And I loved all the things we did together
To have your sweet shadow following me
I swelled with pride when you called me "Mom"
Being your mom meant so much to me.
Words couldn't express my joy at your birth
And will never express the loss in my heart
Knowing you've left and returned to Heaven
That it was deemed your time to part.
And though I'm not sure how I'll get through this grief
I promise this much...my dearest daughter...to you
That I'll remember you each day with gladness
For that is what you'd want me to do.
And though such deep sorrow cannot be wished away
It isn't the memory you'd want to leave
No, you'd want me to remember you with gladness..."
Gzaagin Ndaanis
Lovingly remembered by her mom May (Tut) and grandma "Moma" (Annie).

ROY--In loving memory of Heidi Louanne Sarah, June 28, 1986 - January 12, 2006.
My Sister And My Friend
"Sisterhood is a journey
Throughout life it does not end
But you were more than my sister
I was proud to call you my friend.
In our childhood I recall so many times
Of great joy and carefree play
Memories that comfort and make me smile
Even though you've gone away.
And I realize how very blessed I was
To have found a friend in you
There were times when your love was the difference
That somehow got me through.
Through the challenges that we all must face
Growing up on this path called life
You were there for me in such thoughtful ways
And helped me through these difficult times.
And I was also privileged to laugh with you
From the ridiculous to the sublime
Your smile is seared in my memory.
Pane Gimaakwenmigo
Lovingly remembered by her family Natalie, Eugene, Eugenia, Ferris, Mark, Anna, Mark Jr., Joel, Effie, Ethyn, Jacy, Lexie, Michelle, Mark, Cameron and Hunter.

ROY--In loving memory of a dear aunt "Joyce" who passed away November 4, 2001
There is a bridge of memories
From here to heaven above
That keeps you very close to us
It's called a bridge of love
As time goes on without you
and days turn into years,
They hold a million memories
And a thousand silent tears.
To us you were very special
What more is there to say,
Except to wish with all our hearts,
That you were here today.
--Always remembered by your nieces and nephews.

ROYAL-In loving memory of Mrs. Frank Royal, who passed away April 26th, 1929.
We miss thee dearest mother from thy familiar place
We do not hear thy footsteps near nor see thy smiling face.
We miss thee in our lonesome home
We feel thy absence there.
And oh! What sorrow hurts our hearts to see they vacant chair
Again we hope to meet them, when life's short journey o'er.
Oh yes! We hope to meet thee on Heaven's eternal shore.
Sadly missed by Mrs. F. M. Johnson

RUSSELL- In memory of our dad Fred Russell, on our first Father's day without you.
Fields of Blessings on Father's Day.
On Father's Day we take the time
To turn our thoughts to dad
Thank him for the home he gave
For all the things we had.
We think about the fleeting years
Too quickly, gone for good
It seems like only yesterday
I'd go back if I could.
A time when dad was always there
No matter what the weather
Always strong when things went wrong
He held our lives together.
He strived so hard from day to day
And never once complained
With steady hands, he worked the land
And kept the family name.
He taught us that hard work pays off
You reap just what you sow
He said that if you tend your crops
Your field will overflow.
My harvest has been bountiful
He taught me how to give
In his firm and steadfast way
He taught me how to live.
Dad dwells among the angels now
He left us much too soon
He glides across a golden field
Above the harvest moon.
I see him in the fields of grain
He rides upon the wind
And when my path is beaten down
He picks me up again.
From Evelyn, Barbara and Esther.

RUSSELL--In loving memory of Fred Russell, January 27, 1923 to January 19, 2007.
Lovingly remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.
He has gone across the river,
To the shore of evergreen,
And we long to see his dear face,
But the river flows between;
Someday, sometime we shall see
The face we loved so well,
Someday we'll clasp his hand,
And never say farewell.
Always in our thoughts, forever in our hearts.
Beulah and family.

RUSSELL--In loving memory of Fred Russell who died January 19, 2007.
He went away without farewell,
He said goodbye to none,
But Heaven's gate was open wide
And a loving voice said "Come".
Beside his grave we often stand,
Our hearts are tired and sore
But through the gloom,
There comes the words;
"Not dead just gone before."
From Beulah and family.
