In loving memory of Jack Brown and Anne WILKIN.
A year has come and gone,
But you are still here in our hearts forever.
--From the Hodder family.
Manitoulin Expositor, September 11, 2002

WILKIN--In loving memory of a dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Glenna Wilkin, who passed away one year ago.
Lonely are our homes without you,
Life is not the same
All the world would be like heaven
If we could have you back again.
Your life with us was love and labour
Your love for your family true.
You did your best for all of us
We will always remember you.
We miss you dearly, Jim, Pat and Family.
Manitoulin Expositor, November 14, 2007

WILKIN--In loving memory of a dear mother, grandmother and great- grandmother Glenna who passed away November 6, 2006, and brother and uncle Arthur who passed away November 15, 2002.
With tear filled eyes we watched them,
Suffer and fade away.
Although we loved them deeply,
We could not wish for them to stay.
Their golden hearts stopped beating,
Hardworking hands put to rest.
God spoke and reassured us,
He only takes the best.
Sadly missed and always remembered by Jim, Pat and families.
Manitoulin Expositor, November 19, 2008

WILKIN, Maureen--On April 22nd it will be a year since you left us - a long time but I remember the day as if it was yesterday. A lot has changed and yet a lot of things are the same. Connor and Tessa are one year older, they miss you terribly. They talk about you all of the time. I have a new horse, Tiffany, and she has your favourite colouring. She is beautiful and challenging and she makes my days brighter with her unique and mischievious personality. The kids love her and Greg tolerates her. I have learned to cook, something I'm sure you never thought would happen. I now have all of your old cookbooks and have attempted to make a few of your recipes, some are edible and some are not. I am trying. We went on a Disney Cruise with Dad. It was really nice though I was glad to come home and Dad was happy to stay (no more cold weather for him!). Life is definitely very different without you but I feel very lucky to have had such a wonderful mother. I take comfort in knowing that even though I was in my mid-thirties, you still considerd (sic) me to be your little girl. That is love. And so while I miss you terribly, I am glad that you are finally peaceful. Loving you and missing you always, Cathy.
Manitoulin Expositor, April 22, 2009

WILKIN, Maureen--Our "Gramma." We miss all of your hugs and kisses, we miss cuddling with you in your bed and watching cartoons, we miss baking goodies with you in your kitchen, we miss posing for all of those pictures you used to take of us, and most of all we just miss you. Loving you and missing you always, Connor and Tessa.
Manitoulin Expositor, April 22, 2009

WILKIN, Ruby--In memory of a dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother who passed away Mother's Day, 2002.
Your memory is our keepsake, with which we will never part.
God has you in his keeping, we have you in our hearts.
Always remembered, forever missed and eternally loved, Lois and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, May 5, 2004

WILKIN--In loving memory of a dear husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, William (Bill) Wilkin, who passed away July 21, 1979
We wish so much that life could be
Just as it was before
That you could be in your favorite chair
When we come through the door
But since those special dreams of ours
Can never more come true
We’ll just be grateful Grandpy (sic)
For the years we had with you.
Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by the family.
Manitoulin Expositor, July 23, 1980

WILKINSON -In loving memory of Alden eldest and dearly loved son of John and Nellie Wilkinson, Poplar, Ont., paid the supreme price at Vimy Ridge, May 24th, 1917.
We miss his face, his voice, his hand.
Yet why in vain regret, repine?
What nobler offering could he give
Than yield his life for yours and mine.
A few short years at most and then
Life troubles end like summers rain
The pattering on the leaves will cease
And we shall meet our boy again.

WILLIAMS, Bob, May 30, 1976
The blow was great, the shock severe
We little thought the time was near
And only those who have lost can tell
The pain of parting without farewell
More each day we miss you
Friends may think the wound is healed
But they little know the sorrow
That lies within our hearts concealed
Someday, we’ll understand
When we meet again,
Always remembered by: Lyman, Fay & family
Manitoulin Expositor, May 30, 1979

WILLIAMS - Bobby:
Beautiful memories are wonderful things
They last till the longest day;
They never wear out, they never get lost,
Nor can they be given away.
To some you may be forgotten
To others a part of the past
But to those who dearly loved you
Your memory will always last.

So many things have happened
Since you were called away
So many things to share with you
Had you been left to stay

Memories of you come our way
Though absent you are ever near

WILLIAMS --In loving memory of Bob Williams who died May 30, 1976.
And on the wings of death and sorrow
God sends us new hope for tomorrow
In his mercy, in his grace.
He gives us strength to bravely face
The lonely days that stretch ahead
To know our loved one is not dead
But only sleeping out of our sight
And we'll meet in that land
Where there is no night.
Loving thoughts, Mom and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 1, 2005

WILLIAMS--In memory of our son Bob.
Through years hurry by, and distance seems longer,
Yet our yearning for you has never dimmed.
Things that you did and said, keep cropping back.
Fond memories of joys, and trials we shared.
Not many things are left now, except fond memories.
And Bobby-Jo who was a spitting image of you as a baby.
We thank God, that at least in his providential care
He left something of you for us to share.
We still miss you very much,
Bob, even though it’s been thirty-one long years that you left.
Someday we’ll share in glory, the things you see now.
Where no parting will be felt, but bliss forever more.
(Written by his father Stan Williams, deceased in 1998)
Robert John Charles Williams - October 8, 1953 - May 30, 1976
Mom and family.
Manitoulin Expositor, June 6, 2007

WILLIAMS--In memory of a brother and a friend, Robert (Bob) John Charles Williams - October 8, 1953- May 30, 1976.
At twenty-two, your mind was clear, your life so full of joy.
With the body of a grown man and the heart of a little boy.
You earned your way, you laughed and sang, and when the work was done,
You relished life and knew no bounds that could contain your fun.
You fell in love, you lived your life unabashed and unashamed.
You made us laugh as your spirit soared like an eagle’s heart untamed.
You knew our God, and felt his love, when quiet moments came,
And He knew of you, and blessed your life, in Jesus precious name.
And then you fell into his arms, and as He drew you to his chest.
He whispered softly in your ear, the Father knows what’s best.
Now in our lives we feel a void and at times feel so alone.
We shed our tears for the loss we feel, because God took you home.

WILLIAMS --Stan Sr. and Bob - You're always in our hearts, October birthday boys!
It's so strange that those we need
And those we love the best,
Are just the ones God called away
And took them home to rest.
But every time we think of you,
We seem to hear God say:
"Have faith and trust my promise
We'll meet again some day."
Love always, Linda and Allen.
Manitoulin Expositor, October 19, 2005

WILLIAMSON-In memory of a loving mother and grandmother Annie, who passed away Feb. 18, 1975.
Three years ago today,
On a sad and lonely nite,
God took her to heaven,
To be a star so bright.
She played her part on earth so well,
That we can only wish
That He had left her here a while
For she is sadly missed.
Always alive in our memory daughter Helen, son-in0law Albert, grandchildren, Judy, Alberta and Eddie.

In loving memory of a dear husband, father and grandfather, Russell WILLIAMSON, who passed away May 6th, 1974.
A whole year had passed, dad,
Since you went away;
You left us so quickly,
So much left unspoken;
We loved you so much,
Our hearts were just broken.
Now as each day passes
Our hearts lighten too;
We know that your time came
And God wanted you.
We’ll always remember
Your laugh and your ways,
The comfort and joy
You gave us those days.
We think of you often
And yes, we shed tears,
We’ll probably do that
The rest of our years,
We love you, we miss you,
That’s all we can say,
And hope that we can see you
In Heaven some day.
Sadly missed by wife Jean, daughters Patricia and Marjorie, sons Dewar and Robert and their families.

WILLITON -In loving memory of Lyna Williton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Williton, who died October 11th, 1923.
Friends may think that we forget you
When at times they see us smile,
But they do not know our sorrow
That is holding all the while.
In our hearts your memory lingers,
Sweetly, fond and true,
There is not a day dear Lyna,
That we do not think of you.
No one knows the silent heartaches
Only those who have lost can tell,
Of the sorrow borne in silence
For the one we loved so well.
When we are sitting by the fire,
And our thoughts they want to roam,
How we often wish dear Lyna
That you only could come home.
-Sadly missed by Father, Mother, Sisters and Brothers

WITTY--In loving memory of my brother Alex Witty.
We do not need a special day,
to bring you to our minds.
The days we do not think of you,
are very hard to find.
Stella and Harry Witty
Manitoulin Expositor, March 7, 2007

WITTY --In loving memory of Stanley Witty.
I often lay awake at night when the world is fast asleep
And take a walk down memory lane with tears upon my cheeks.
The years I had with you are worth their weight in gold
The joy and laughter that we had are mine to have and hold.
Remembering you is easy, I do it every day.
But missing you is a heartache that never goes away.
I hold you close within my heart and there you will remain
To walk with me throughout my life until we meet again.
Forever loved by Doreen and family.
