Death of Mr. Fred Biehl
(From the Mildmay Gazette)
In the passing of Mr. Fred Beihl, Mildmay loses one of its most highly respected citizens, deceased being well and favourable known here. Death resulted after an illness of a few months duration and although no hopes were entertained during the last few days, death nevertheless came as a shock to the many friends he made through life. Mr. Biehl was 81 years, 9 months and 4 days of age, and had enjoyed fairly good health until a few months prior to his death.
Deceased was born in Germany and spent the earlier part of his life there, being at one time a soldier in the army. He leaves to mourn his sad death besides his wife, a family of eight children, three sons and five daughters. The funeral will be held to Mildmay Evangelical cemetery on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, services to be held in the church after the interment. The deepest sympathy of the many friends of the bereaved family is extended to them now that the band of death has removed from the home, both a loving husband and a devoted father.
The deceased was the father of Mr. J. H. Biehl, and his family have the sincere sympathy of their fellow citizens in their bereavement.
