Atherton -- Searching for information about James ATHERTON, born in Bolton, England, @1900-05. Married Edith BUDGE in St. Catharines in 1922. His brothers were Peter and Tom (who died in WWI) and his sisters were Lizzie, Polly, Maggie. Any information will be appreciated.

Bacon -- Sarah Ann Bacon, born December 10, 1838 in Allanburg, Welland co., Ontario, Canada. She had a brother named John, b. 1838. Her father's name was Ira H. Bacon and her mother, Mary Ramsday.  Sarah Ann married Albert Ira Berdan, (b. December 3, 1838) in Charlotteville, Canada on May 24, 1865.

Bailey -- Researching Ezra BAILEY.  He is referred to as Ezra Bailey of Willoughby in "Information on Sons and Daughters of UEL"  His wife was Anna WINTERMUTE daughter of Abraham WINTERMUTE who fought wiht Butler's Rangers.   Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Baker -- Mary A. BAKER married John DEFIELD at Ancaster, Ontario in October 1831. Mary A. BAKER was born at
Rome, NY in Sep 1805. By 1813, her obit states the family was living within the sounds of the guns at the Battle of Lundy's
Lane. After marrying, the couple moved to NY State. In 1837 she left Adrian, Steuben Co., NY by wagon with her daughter
to join her husband at Berrien Springs, MI. CHILDREN: Almira b. abt 1834 NY; John E. b. abt 1842 MI and Sarah B. b.
abt 1842 MI. BROTHER: George R. L. BAKER of Dundee, MI. SISTER: Nancy BAKER. NEICE: Mary Ann

Barden -- Horace McKendry BARDEN b. 1833, Upper Canada His parents Seth J. BARDEN & Rachel COLEMAN (dau. of John COLEMAN & Rachel BARDEN) had 8 children in New York between 1820 - 1832. Their last 3 children were born in OHIO between 1836 - 1840. QUESTION: Their 9th child (HORACE) was born in Canada in 1833. WHERE?? Any explanation of a possible route of migration that caused one son to be born in Canada presumedly towards their final destination of central west BARRON County, WISCONSIN. This was a VERY BRIEF excursion into CANADA. Diadema born in New York in 1832. Horace in Canada in 1833, and return to OHIO in 1836 when Irene was born. The in Canada was so brief ... certainly they were not noted in any census. Birth records were virtually non-existant --- only hope would be church/baptismal records. I can only guess they were Baptist/Methodist Espiscopal --- (or ?United Brethren?). Horace's son was a United Brethren Reverend ... but he was married by a Methodist Episcopal Minister in Wisconsin. From New York geography to Upper Canada seems like a 'step' forward ... and then two 'giant steps' backwards into the OHIO geography ... and then many giant steps forward to end up in Wisconsin. I don't understand 'this progress' .... and feel any luck in finding a birth record on HORACE might be next to impossible. Thanks for your attention.

Barns -- Jonas BARNS and his wife Anna (Millard) BARNS came to Stamford Twnsp in 1785 from Pennsylvania.  They had lot #77. Children were Jonas, Elisha, Lois, Lavina, Ruth and Unice. They came with a group from Wyalusing, PA. area.

Bassford -- Looking for information on man named Frank Bassford (b. 1885, England). He worked out of either Sarnia or Tobermory, and had two daughters born in 1913 and 1915. He was in St.Catharines around June 6, 1945, where a woman he was with, last name either Johnson or White/Wight/Whyte gave birth to their illegitimate child in the St.Catharines General Hospital. The woman had three other children, Gloria Johnson (1934-1946), and daughter and son. She was born in Michigan state approx. 1913 or 1914 and married to another man in 1934. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Bell -- What I have so far is my dads' name is Donald Reginald Bell , born June 10, 1932. His father was William Bell, born in 1883 and deceased in 1945. My fathers mother was Anna Rachael Bell (Little) , born 1888 and deceased on Oct. 13, 1951. I believe her mothers' name was Frances Elizabeth Graves and her dad was Walter L. Little.I also believe my grandfathers' parents were George Bell and Mary Bell (Goodwin).
A relative has mentioned that George came from Italy and Mary from Upswitch, England.

Bowman -- Researching the family of Margaret Bowman, b. abt. 1770 to George Adam Bowman and Ann Mary Conrad, married George Darby. Margaret died 21 May 1843. Margaret and George had lived in Grantham Twp. and had at least ten children. Their children married into the families of Goring - Read - Godfrey - Emmett - Shultis - Cook - Ferguson - Glover - Jones - and possibly Bowman.

Broadley -- Hannah Cecelia (Bissell) Broadley died 1944 and is buried in a Fort Eriecemetery. I would like to find out where and if her husband George F. Broadley, died 1963, is buried with her.

BUCK -- Searching for info on Edmund BUCK b. 1805 in NY. He was in Grimsby abt. 1830 where he was a bondsman for Abraham Walker who married Catherine Merrill. He married Catharine (?) in 1831 in St. Catharines' Their daughter, Elizabeth, was born there in  1834. Does anyone know of a Buck famiy who was in the area at that time? He was of German descent so name may have been Buch or?? Any help is appreciated.

Bufton -- My granmothers name was Georgina or Georgenia Bufton. She had a brother named Robert Bufton who lived in St. Catherines. I believe my grandmother died around 1941 and is buried somewhere around Fonthill-Thorold. Can anyone help me to verify this ? Thanks a geneological million,
