Patterson -- I understand that Robert Lawrence Patterson came with his mother Catherine Coleman to join his father in Niagara-On-The-Lake -- but, that his father died of 'fever'  before they got there.  I would love to find his father's grave, what he did for a living and how Catherine supported her family. Robert Lawrence Patterson is my kids ggggrandfather. I would like to know who Robert's siblings were & who they married. I am also looking for the LEGGE family -- that is who Robert Lawrence married. All sorts of things -- so any help to get me going in the right direction would be very, very much appreciated.

Peltier -- Isaac Brock Foster (b abt 1814 died aft 1880) of Grimsby married Almira Jane Travis of Caistor on Jan 30, 1839. The minister was Rev S. Belton on the Wesleyan Methodist Church. The Reverend was likely a circuit rider. Isaac may have been both a farmer and a sailor on Lake Ontario. He and Almira Jane had at least 8 children including my ggrandfather, Jarvis Foster who married Mary Wiseman Jan 15, 1873 in Colchester Twp, Essex Cty, Ontario. I am searching for information on Isaac Brock Foster, particularly his parents. Were they loyalists who came to Lincoln County via Nova Scotia? I am also searching for verification that Almire Jane is the daughter of Caleb Travis and Sarah Hodgkins. If anyone is interested I can provide a listing of many of the descendants of Isaac Brock and Almira Jane. Thanks for any help you can give. Jack Peltier
