Sauerwein, John Lewis -- This was my great grndfather he was born Nov.08,1846 in Canada West I was told near St. Catharines.HE came to the united States late 50's or early 60's. I am trying to find info on his parents and family. Thank You Carol Giannelli.

Schram -- I am researching my ancestry on the surname of WILLIAM SCHRAM, who was a Loyalist and was born in Niagara in 1790 and died 1865.  He is buried in Lambeth, Ontario beside his fathere Jeremiah Schram. Does any of this sound familiar to anyone?

Shanahan -- Looking for information regarding my fater's parents. My father was born 6/17/1898 in Welland. His name was Michael Joseph Shanahan. I believe his father's name was also Michael Joseph Shanahan. I need information on how to obtain a copy of my father's birth certificate so I can then research his parents.

Shultis -- Mary Shultis, b. abt. 1796, married George Adam Darby. Who were her parents? How was Phoebe Shultis of  Grantham Twp. related to her? Phoebe m. John Shriner in 1833 St. Catharines and George Adam Darby was listed as bondsman. On the 1871 census found Erastus Shultis b. abt. 1838 Ontario, in Welland Village and also a George Wm. Shultis, b. abt. 1806 also in Welland Village. Is anyone researching this family?

Soper -- Searching for parents and history on Samuel Soper Butler's Ranger UEL. Settled Niagara c1783. Married Bathsheba c1760, somewhere in the USA. Died in Lachine, Que. Lots of info to share.

SPITZER -- Charles Spitzer was born in Germany in 1810. He was an innkeeper in Chippewa in the 1860's. His daughter, Rosina Spitzer married Conrad Von Behrens, from Germany. The families moved to Niagara County, NY in the early 1870's. Does anyone have any knowledge of this family?

Steep -- Micheal Steep was born in Co. Limerick Ireland in 1810.  He emigrated to Ontario with his wife Sarah (SHERWOOD) and at least 6 of their children around 1850.  They settle in Thorold 1852.  Micheal died in 1880 and Sarah in 1908.   Looking for anyone else researching this or any STEEP/STEIP family.

Thielan -- Matthew THIELAN born in France about 1840, emigrated to Welland, Ontario. Married Mary CANE of Ireland

Thomas -- I am looking for the family members of Robert Herbert Thomas (1881-1940) who was killed in a fall at the Toronto Power Company in November of 1940. I know he and his wife were buried in Lundy's Lane Cemetery. There were ten children --8 daughters and 2 sons. The children remaining at home were Doris, Pattie, Georgina, Leslie and David. The remaining girls were Mrs. George Tallman, Allanburg, Mrs. Joseph Thomas, Timins, Mrs. Harry Heximer, Kirkland Lake, Mres. C. Schatz, Niagara Falls, N.Y. and Mrs. Bruce Collins of Niagara Falls. Son, Ewart was at Eugenia Falls, ON at the time of his father's death. Would appreciate hearing from any family members. Mrs. Harry Hexim.

Tice -- Samantha Catherine Tice, her mother was Susannah Bowman daughter of George and Susannah Bowman. Her father was George Tice son of Henry and Elizabeth Tice. George died some time after 1856.

Tomlin -- Seeking information on the TOMLINS, according to my grandmother's Cleveland Ohio obit 1956 she had two brothers Fred and Charles TOMLIN both of Niagara Falls, Canada.I would love to hear from others with information on these two brothers.
