SPECIAL INQUIRY
Looking for info. on John and Joseph SEELEY (brothers) who originated and manufactured the "Famous Seeley Hand-pump" in the late 1800s. Any written documentation or knowledge about the hand-pump would be greatly appreciated. I believe they came frmo Campbell's Bay, Quebec.

Need death records for Caroline, Joseph, Edith and Catherine (none listed in Ontario Death Records).

Looking for info. on my great-grandmother, Mary Jane PORTEOUS. b. c1857, Richmond, ON. area. She had 2 illegitimate sons, John, b. Apr. 15, 1878 (father = Edward BUTLER) & William, b. Apr. 28, 1880 (father = ? GOOD who was likely a teacher). 1881 census shows both boys & Mary living with her father Archibald at Richmond. In 1891, William was living in Carleton Place with his aunt & uncle, Margaret A. & William LACKEY. Mary m. Robert DEAVES, Mar. 8, 1882 & had 2 daughters, Graces L., b. c1883 (m. CARDIFF) & Margaret J., b. c1885 (m. LACKIE). In 1891 census Mary, widow, was living in Carleton Place with widower, George CROZIER (b. c1846) & their respective children*. She later m. a CARDIFF. I do not know where she went after 1891 or when she died. (*one of Georges sons m. Grace PORTEOUS, mary's niece).
