BENNETT, Thomas
(d.), was a son of John Bennett, and was b. in
Eng. in 1840. He came to Canada in 1861, and set. in Luther. He
was a man of great personal activity. In religion, a Roman
Catholic, and in polities a Conservative. He m. Elizabeth
Bedford, and had a family of nine children, five boys and four
girls. Of them, Thomas is a farmer in Eramosa. He m. Miss Gilfillin.
