129 Wilson, Cunningham, Campbell
I had discovered some information on the family of Wilson Cunningham
(son of Peter Jopseph Cunningham & Lulu May Wilson) from a death

would appreciate hearing from anyone connected with this family. Lulu May
was my great grandfather Fred Wilson of Maryborough's first
cousin. Posted on Sun Jan 8 10:38:54 2006

her beside her parents or at least have their names to put on the
headstone. All we know is that her parents last names were Nickel (her
mothers maidan name was Goersan), and we suspect (through her talking)
that her parents names were Gertrude and Clayton. Unfortunately those
firt names are only speculated and S>I>N registry has not been much help

mary powrie schacht I found a pay sheet transcribed in "Fergus, the Story of a
Small Town" for the 1837 Gore District Militia listing my great
grandfather Robert Pourie (current spelling Powrie), but the original was
in the hands of Lt. Valentine's family. I've long looked for
other records, traveling even to the Canadian National Library. Anyone
else run across these records or know where that original pay sheet is
currently. It is my only proof when my ancestor came to Canada from
Scotland, so I give an arm to have a copy or find something like the
muster sheets, which I pray may have age at enlistment. There were 9
Robert Powries born within 5 years, and I think I know which one is mine,
but it would be incredible after 30 years to find
proof. Posted on Tue Jun 5 19:07:34 2012

Jerry Fisher Looking to find various pieces of info on Mathias Fisher who married
Deborah Hainer and settled in Erin Township about 1830. Mathias was born
about 1801 and died about 1885. Have most of the info after 1830 BUT
need to verify that Mathias's father was Jacob Fisher, who was in the
war of 1812 with the 4th Reg. of Lincoln Militia. There were 2 Jacob
Fisher's in the area, one in Clinton Township and another in
Gainsboro Township. I believe the Clinton one is Mathia's father but
can't prove it. Mathias was in the 4th Reg. of Lincoln Milita in
1828 and then moved with Deborah to Erin Township.
Sure would appreciate anyone's help.

Cindy Paradis Hi
I am wanting to confirm information about my family when they were living
in Puslinch Lake, and am not sure where to start. My Grandparents George
and Jenny Graham apparently lived in Puslinch Lake when my mom was young
sometime between 1940-1948. Apparently Grandpa worked at a woolen mill I
think in Hespler, and my Mom Wanda and her brother Danny went to school
in the area.
Is there someone who may be able to give me some advice on how to prove
Any help much appreciated
