129 Wilson, Cunningham, Campbell
I had discovered some information on the family of Wilson Cunningham
(son of Peter Jopseph Cunningham & Lulu May Wilson) from a death

would appreciate hearing from anyone connected with this family. Lulu May
was my great grandfather Fred Wilson of Maryborough's first
cousin. Posted on Sun Jan 8 10:38:54 2006

144 NICKEL, GOERSAN
I work at Dover Cliffs Long Term Care Centre in Ontario. A resident
that lived here for 15 years passed away yesterday, Irene Margaret
Nickel. She was mentally handicapped, and was "left here" with no Power
of Attorney, no family records. We, the staff are hoping to either bury
her beside her parents or at least have their names to put on the
headstone. All we know is that her parents last names were Nickel (her
mothers maidan name was Goersan), and we suspect (through her talking)
that her parents names were Gertrude and Clayton. Unfortunately those
firt names are only speculated and S>I>N registry has not been much help
(confidentiality reasons). Please help me to start to look for funeral
homes, cemetaries, etc to find her parents. Thanks,

150 HOWARD , BARRETT
I am researching the family of James & Elizabeth (Watling) HOWARD
that lived in Guelph from the 1830 or 40's on. A daughter, Sarah Ann
HOWARD, is my maternal gg grandmother. James, a brother of Sarah, was a
barber and married Mary Jane BARRETT from Pilkington Twp on Jul 26 1876.
James & Mary Jane had 5 children:
Minnie Elizabeth (b Feb 18 1878), Cecilia Mabel (b Jul 3 1880), Gusty
Norton (a girl, b Aug 5 1882), Charles James (b May 11, 1886) & Elsie May
(b Jan 23 1890). According to the 1891 Canada Census, the family lived
in Guelph.
My problem is that I have found no indication of any family member in
either the 1901 or 1911 Canada Census. A search of both marriage & death
indices from 1891 onwards draws a blank as well. I would appreciate
hearing from anyone having information about this family. Thanks, Dave
