Bethel Cemetery

Description

Bethel Church was closed and sold in 1957. Only three stones stand, and it is not known if there were others.

Directions to Cemetery

Part of Lot 1, Concession 3 of the former Cartwright Township.
Exit Highway at Simcoe Street in Oshawa and drive north through the city. Continue north past Columbus and Raglan to Shirley Road. Drive east on Shirley Road (Durham Road 19). At one point Durham Road 19 turns sharlpy north for about one kilometre, then gradually east again. The cemetery is on a small piece of the original road left on the north side when the second curve was created.
