MAY 2001
The branch has published the cemetery transcription for the Richmond Hill
Presbyterian Cemetery. Order directly from the branch using the convenient order form. Read about other transcriptions in
progress on the Special Projects page. A link to the Ontario
Newspaper Notices web site that contains many references to York County papers
has been added to the Newspapers & Periodicals Resources
page. New Member's Surname Interests submitted include: HAGAN,

Our branch library
holdings housed at Richmond Hill Public Library are accessible by searching the RHPL
catalogue, available online. Lots more additions to the Research
Resources section, look for the icon in all sections. This
section has been re-organized into logical categories, and the following icons have been
added to help identify the type of resource listed: =Article =Book =CD =Online =Write or Phone =Video. Upcoming Fall branch
meetings, and APOLROD meetings, have been added to the Calendar of
Events. Lots of new links in the Member's Favourite Links section to help get you started with
your online research.

The branch has published two new Places of Worship Registers. Register of Marriages
1819-1843 by Rev. Wm Jenkins of Richmond Hill (includes marriages performed in
the York, Markham, Vaughan, Whitchurch, Pickering and Uxbridge). Also St.
Philips/Bethesda Lutheran Church, Unionville, Ontario Registers 1819-1848 (since
1864 known as Bethesda Lutheran Church). These publications can be
ordered directly from the branch using, see the convenient order form.
