                The Blodgett Cemetery  is located on the south side of Newport Highway #20, one and three-tenths miles east of Blodgett on the former William Blodgett Donation Land Claim. The cemetery can be reached by taking a left-hand turn off the highway onto Davis Road and from there entering a gravel road going up the hillside.  The cemetery is not visible from the road.

 

                The burial ground was established by 1876 (the earliest date on a gravestone).  However, the first burial was probably Maria Blodgett in the late 1860’s.  The cemetery is still in use.
