The Claremont Cemetery is a family burying ground. The cemetery is located on private land approximately 4.28 miles from Hoskins. The Polk/Benton County line runs through the property.There are 8 family burials in the approximately 0.25 acre plot that is surrounded by a white picket fence. The cemtery is reached by a quarter-mile wildflower trail from the house and through a rose arbor gate. The first burial was Mary Hull (1872-1963).
