The HENDRIX / LOBSSSTER VALLEY CEMETERY is located in the Coast Range. To reach the cemetery, drive to Alsea, turn left towards Lobster Valley, and take a right turn onto the Lobster Valley Road. Access is by a logging road located on the north side of Lobster Valley Road, across the road from the church.

The cemetery was established by the HENDRIX family when they moved to the valley about 1917. However, the earliest death date on a monument is 1906, as the matriarch of the family had asked that when the family moved, her remains be moved also and reburied. The church of Christ is the present owner of the cemetery.
