Enumerated on 10 September 1988
The Summit Cemetery is about three-quarters of a mile south-east of the town of Summit. It is on a hill overlooking the Mary's River valley, and can be reached by the Eddyville-Blodgett highway.
Although the cemetery was in use by 1874, based on a date on a gravestone, a formal association was not formed for may years and the area was not recorded in the county books until 1929. It is not large, less than an acre, but is still in use and tended.
