| Sarah Staats May 22, 1961 |
|
Dallas - Funeral services will be held at the Bollman Chapel Wednesday at 1:30pm for
Mrs. Sarah Etta Staats, 86, who died at a Dallas nursing home Monday. The Rev. Philip
Wolfe will officiate. Interment will be at the Monmouth Cemetery. Mrs. Staats had
resided in the Dallas area for 18 years and spent most of her life in the Airlie
area south of Dallas. She was born at Sac City, Iowa, and married at Airlie to Asa
Staats, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Christian Church of Dallas.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Edith Davis, Rockaway; sister, Mrs, Jessie Bump, Monmouth;
two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. |
