Located in the beautiful High Desert region of Eastern Oregon, the Fort W.S. Harney
Chapter was organized October 11, 1988, by Ruth Schultz (Mrs. James H.) of Hines.
Hines and its sister city, Burns, are located approximately 130 miles southeast of Bend,
Oregon. Meetings are held at the Harney County Library, in Burns, Oregon, on the
2nd Wednesday of each month at 1:30 p.m.. To attend a meeting, e-mail the Chapter
Registrar.
