The Mount Hood Chapter presents ROTC Medals every year at the University of Portland to both US Army and US Air Force cadets.
When Claire Morelli was Chapter Regent, she appointed Virgina Hoffman as chairman of our Nursing Scholarship program. Virginia Hoffman selected the University of Portland Department of Nursing as the recipient. Mount Hood Chapter has provided scholarships to juniors in the nursing program since 1984. The scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Maud Draper, a founding member of our chapter.
We support all DAR schools, OSSDAR museums and special projects, the Portland Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and the NSDAR President General's project.
Our meetings are on the second Saturday of each month, September to May. If you are interested in attending a meeting as a guest, please contact us.
Web hyperlinks to non-DAR sites are not the responsibility of the NSDAR, the state organizations, or individual DAR chapters.
