Gatton Cemetery

Multnomah County

This is a small, family cemetery. In 1957 it was being maintained by the family. It was established on the Donation Land Claim (#1701) of William Gatton. He was born in Holmes County, Ohio in 1831. He married Nancy Jane  Hendrickson on December 15, 1850 or 1851. They arrived in Oregon on October 12, 1852 and settled this claim the following May.
