ORDINANCE NO. 61325

Providing for numbering of buildings and renaming of streets.

Base Lines

NORTH and SOUTH	Williams Ave. and the center line of Willamette river Southerly from Glisan Street.
EAST and WEST	Burnside Street and Washington Street

METHOD OF NUMBERING

Starting with number one and extending each way from the base line, one number for each ten feet, and continuing with consecutive hundreds at each intersection, even numbers on the Southerly and Easterly sides, and odd numbers on the Northerly and Westerly sides.

South of Jefferson Street, between Front Street and the river, the prefix "zero" (0) to be added.

DISTRICTS

NORTH	North of the Willamette river and West of the center line of Williams Avenue.
NORTHEAST	North of the center line of East Burnside Street and East of the center line of Williams Avenue.
SOUTHEAST	South of the center line of East Burnside Street and East of the Willamette River.
NORTHWEST	North of the center line of Burnside Street and West of the Willamette River.
SOUTHWEST	South of the center line of Burnside Street and West of the Willamette River.

Districts are designated by prefixes "N', "NE", "SE", "NW", and "SW"

DESIGNATION

"Streets"	Easterly and Westerly
"Avenues"	Northerly and Southerly
"Drive", "Court", Lane, "Terrace", or "Way"	Winding or Circuitous
"Place"	Between two consecutively numbered streets. Takes lesser of two numbers
"Boulevard" or "Drive"	Scenic or arterial

Present numbered avenues in Southeastern section to be changed to the names of the coinciding streets commencing at the Willamette River.
