Levi Potter

Levi Cincinnatus Potter was born about 1826 in Chautauqua County, New York. He arrived in Oregon in 1847, and settled his land claim in February 1850. On Mach 11, 1857, in Multnomah County, he married Hannah Knox.⁽¹⁾ He died December 15, 1898.⁽²⁾

Hannah Knox was born about 1840 in Ohio.

At the time of the 1860 census they had the following children:

	William W. Potter, born about 1857.
	Mary Alice Potter, born about 1859. She was married February 24, 1886 in Portland, to Albert W. Wright. Witnesses to the marriage were her mother, Hannah, and sister Daisey. ⁽³⁾
	Ellen Potter, born about 1861⁽⁴⁾
	Daisy Potter, born about 1865.⁽⁵⁾
	Josephine Potter, born about 1869.⁽⁶⁾
