James Powell

James Powell was born in Kentucky about 1818. He was a brother of the Jackson Powell. He married in Missouri, and died in East Portland in 1896, leaving a wife and children.(1)

Eliza (--?--), was born in Missouri about 1833.

At the time of the 1870 census, the family consisted of the following children, all born in Oregon:(2)
