Children of the American Revolution

What is C.A.R.?

The initials stand for Children of the American Revolution, a PATRIOTIC SERVICE ORGANIZATION for boys and girls (birth to 22 years) who trace their ancestry back to a man or woman who served with unfailing loyalty in the American Revolutionary War. (Visit our Eligibility Page for more information about this.) The Oregon Trail Society C.A.R., organized in 1983, is sponsored by Oregon Trail Chapter DAR. We currently have 25 boys and girls enrolled in the Society. We are always happy to welcome prospective members. Senior Society Registrar Evelyn Sass will help prospective members prepare application papers.
