Harned in January, the Kinfolk need some folks to step up and take over the
organization, so it can continue to function and honor the memory of the men of
the Orphan Brigade – all members

Speaker at 1:30 PM - The Kentucky Humanities Council, Kentucky Chautauqua
speaker, Betsy B. Smith, portraying Betsy
Smith is
an eighth-generation native of Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky. She
attended Georgetown College, graduating magna cum laude with degrees in American
Studies (Honors), History, and Communication Arts. One of the many things she
does include co-directing the Kentucky Educational Speech and Drama Association.
Digging into Emilie Todd Helm’s past and bringing her to life has been a joy
